  • This artwork limits between an installation art form of things that represent my own personal feelings. The installation allows the observer inside of my creation rather than just stands and looks unreceptively at a rigid representation. 2007

  • This sculpture is very meaningful to me. Divided Feelings was the first mixed media sculpture I ever made, and it was rather difficult for me to represent what I wanted to communicate, but at the end the result was a success. “Divided Feelings” is controversial and for some it could be a bit grotesque or offensive but my intention was to characterize some frustrating and throbbing years of my adolescence as an obese teenager. In the construction of the piece, I used several found and bought objects such as enteral feeding bags, feeding tubing, Halloween props, glass jars, Barbie dolls, silver wear, and mice traps, all of them were intentionally distorted to communicate the message to the observer.
