Can you feel it? Love and care… I have taken this photograph because I’ve seen a lovely picture of love and care before my eyes… / Two years later I went back to the negative, scanned it (with love and care, of course; here I mean taking care for properly balanced lights and shadows above all, with no important details lost, because the photograph was taken in a room with poor light), made some minor corrections (color curves, desaturated, toned…) and added a frame with text. This mixed media work is created with several photographs. Ted made wonderful cutouts and I created the arrangements. I used a fractal background and several filters of a graphic program to end up with this result. The angel is holding a dove and that is why I came up with this title. Wish you all peace and a wonderful weekend.

As soon as I saw this image.. I knew i had what I wanted, which is what I though of when taking it. I had received some ””news”, and once again, my life would take a turn.. and once again I would lift my eyes unto the Lord, and praise Him in the storm . / Praise Him in the Storm * / by *Casting Crowns I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down / and wiped our tears away, / stepped in and saved the day. / But once again, I say amen / and it’s still raining / as the thunder rolls / I barely hear You whisper through the rain, / “I’m with you” / and as Your mercy falls / I raise my hands and praise / the God who gives and takes away.
