Taken at a local bonfire last night. I like the way the guy is silhoutted against the fire, makes is look like a man sitting atop a pyre, which I guess is the general idea lol. Thanks for looking.

Bonfire Night We used to chant this a children, not really knowing the reason:) Remember, remember the fifth of November / Gunpowder, treason and plot. / I see no reason why gunpowder treason / Should ever be forgot. / Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, / ‘Twas his intent / To blow up the King and the Parliament. These fireworks were captured with Nikon D700 on Streatham Common. I used a tripod and my Nikor 24-120mm Lense.

Ebor is a small country town of approximately 100 people, 45 minutes east of Armidale on the Waterfall Way and 1.5 hours west from the coast high on the New England Tablelands. Just a few minutes walk from Ebor are the Ebor Falls. The Guy Fawkes River meanders along the edge of the township of Ebor and drops over Ebor Falls, a columned basalt rock of 115 metres. The falls are most spectacular after recent rainfall in the catchment area. Although not very high, the two part fall presents the visitor with some great views and some interesting walks. Guy Fawkes River National Park covers an area of around 18,000 hectares and is located in NSW in the east of Australia. The Park is in a rugged and remote wilderness area that features very scenic river systems. At Ebor Falls, at the upstream end of the Guy Fawkes River Gorge, two spectacular waterfalls plunge over basalt ledges and three cliff-top lookout platforms give excellent views of the falls. The is image is of the Guy Fawkes River, just above the falls at Ebor.
