Watercolour on paper. 2007. Poor Desdemona is down to her last Ferrero Rocher and she is inconsolable. New original art listed every Sunday night in my eBay store
I am going to try and do some experimentation in photo – shop. This is my first attempt and I’m dedicating it to Georges Braque who was born on May 13 in 1882. He grew up near Paris, and in 1902 he settled there to study painting. He really liked pictures by the fauves who painted with bright colors and unstructured forms. He painted in those styles until 1908. In 1908 Braque began to paint in the Cubist Style. Between 1908 and 1913 he began to study light and perspective. He used his studies to use shading of a cube to make it look both flat and three-dimensional at the same time. I have used different painting and then processed them in photo -shop. This is number 1 in the series. Music

Digital collage inspired by the wolf packs that howl at night near my home. I see lone wolves sometimes late at night running across the field behind my house. Coyotes come up closer, right to the back door, searching for food. I live in an area rich in beautiful wildlife which inspires my art and writing and uplifts my spirits each day. :) This work has been FEATURED in the Wolves in Art group AND in the Digital Art Compilations group!
Another one from 2007. As I’ve just been invited to join the Painted Nature group, I thought I’d pair it with a song and bring it to the front of my portfolio. currently listening to: Inner City – Good Life medium: acrylic on Arches paper size: 29.7cm x 42cm (A3)

Oil on Canvas. Painted en plein air at Grafton Artsfest. This is the view I saw from my front verandah all the years I was growing up in Grafton. Not so highly coloured of course- I had a go at a more naturalistic palette and it was truly dreadful, so took it back to the studio and pushed those colours as hard as I could.
Acrylic on canvas. Original sold. This has been very popular, with 5 people so far commissioning similar paintings. I do love painting tigers every now and then for some reason.

ORIGINAL AVAILABLE / view my current eBay listings Pauline had been aware of Arthur creeping artlessly through the long grass for some time. Having led him deep into the jungle, she swung around and fixed him with long, hard stare. “Take your hand off it, Arthur.” she growled menacingly. Arthur let his gun slip gently from his grasp onto the ground. “I didn’t mean….” he began to say, his mouth dry. “QUUUUIIIIEEETTTT” she roared. “You’ve said enough.” Minutes passed. The air was thick with the smell of his sweat….and urine. Suddenly she turned and leaped into the trees without a sound. “Dear God” Arthur prayed. currently listening to: Pauline Henry – Underestimate medium: quick dry brush sketch (20 mins) with acrylic on 185gsm Arches paper size: 29.7cm x 42cm (A3)

Razed: That is overturned or overthrown which had stood upright; that is destroyed whose component parts are scattered; that is demolished which had formed a mass or structure; that is dismantled which is stripped of its covering, as a vessel of its sails, or a fortress of its bastions, etc.; that is razed which is brought down smooth, and level to the ground. An ancient pillar is overturned or overthrown, the walls of a castle, a church, or any structure, real or imaginary, may be demolished; a fortress may be dismantled from motives of prudence, in order to render it defenseless. source: Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary, © 1996 medium: coloured pencils on 185gsm Arches paper. size: 42×59.4cm (A2) currently listening to: Scream by Timbaland
