THE DESIGN IS ALSO ADORABLE ON OTHER SHAPELY SHIRTS! / FINALLY ON AN APRON / I began with a floral paintbrush from the magic brushes. I ran the brush all over the canvas. Then I changed the colors of the flowers on the second layer. With soft brushes I added centers on some of the flowers, yellow and orange. I then added a black ring brush as the final touch. I filtered it to give it it’s vibrance and simplified the edges. I also went into the kyoto color filter to check the varied colored schemes and I chose this one. Then I clicked on my brushes again and chose a heart brush and placed it on the image, then I carefully erased all around the heart and Taadaaa! I love the way it came out. I resized it and warped it a bit to get it perfect on the shirt.

Straight from the ‘duck walk’. One of the ducks from the Pied Piper duck fashion parade at Floriade 2008. Taken at Floriade, Canberra, ACT, Australia. Taken using a Nikon D40x with an 18-200mm VR lens. The background has been blurred to bring the subject out more – these ducks were surprisingly hard to shoot…who would’ve thought that they could waddle so fast? Models! =P

What could be more beautiful to a photographer and gardener than to dream that they are in an old fashioned garden, the air is warm and golden colored and butterflies are everywhere! I invite you to stretch out, take a deep breath and close your eyes. If you wish, you could find yourself in my old fashioned garden, let the golden light bathe your senses and quiet you. Perhaps if you stretch out your hand, that butterfly will perch on your finger, furthering your sense of relaxation. Awww….relax….zzzzzzz! These are roses in my garden, the butterfly was added as a composite, I used a Dream Effects filter to make it look like a dream. Rose image taken in my garden in Shady Cove, Oregon
With this image I cut out a guitar from a photo of my brother in law jamming on Easter 2007. I cleaned it up, put it through my filter gallery, added the poster edges effect, then I cloned some spots to darken some areas. I also added some shadow on the bottom of the guitar with my basic brushes (photoshop brushes). I then added swirls (photoshop brushes) and erased some parts of it. For the background I added angel wings (photoshop brushes) and put some style to them. I gave them somewhat of an invisible look so whatever color shirt you choose, the wings will be that color. I also added some hearts (photoshop brushes) because we all have that love for music. Underneath the guitar, I added some musical notes (photoshop brushes) to give it that nice touch. Then I said to myself, what the hell, I will add some splatter paint to it to give some extra color and for more of a playful look. For the colors, I altered the colors with my image adjustments. I fixed the contrast, added highlights, and made an auto color adjustment. This is my entry for the music machines challenge
