I was having a slightly unsatisfying day, photographically speaking, when I suddenly noticed a small group of women waiting by the main road. I was struck by how they each seemed to be together and yet, at the same time, separate. They each exhibited a distinctly feminine posture which, seen from behind, took on a slight air of humour. The patterned dresses reinforce the feminine touch in this scene. It also seemed apt that these fashion-conscious women were being passed by a similarly fashionable motor car.
