  • This is a copy of a Mod that Rain did for me a long time ago. I can’t find the Original so I have tried my best to emulate what she did for me :) See HIS

  • Spanish country-side near Toledo, taken through amber-tinted train window

  • On a frosty june morning I found myself to the top of a local range near Geranium in the Souther Mallee looking at one of the most brilliant sunrise’s I have ever seen. The warm glow of the sun across the clouds and the shifting light made me forget about the the freezing temperatures I was working in.

  • Another working day ends in country Australia.

  • Sunrise over a cornfield in Dexter, Michigan, USA.

  • Another of my favourite Bovine, you’re probably sick of her by now, but I can’t promise there won’t be more

  • As the drought worsens in Australia, our hope for water rests on the windmills. But even they are dry.

  • Polly Joke is a local name for a remote beach on Cornwall’s north coast, it is my favorite beach for beach-combing after a high-tide and provides me with plenty of photographic and sculptural material. Here are a few more of my photos taken in Cornwall me ‘ansom.

  • Someone once wrote- One night a man had a dream. / He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life. / For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, / one beloning to him and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, / he looked back at the footprints in the sand. / He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. / He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. / This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. “Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, / you’d walk with me all the way. / But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. / I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.” The Lord replied “My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. / During your times of trial and suffereing, / when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, / it was then that I carried you.”

  • This is the veiw at the end of the lane where the cottage I live in is… I know, I’m spoilt! What blessings I am given.

  • This is an HDR shot that I took on my girlfriend’s property the other day.. / This old shed has always taken my interest as to how it may turn out as a subject for photography so I decided to get out of my car and take some snaps.. / I hope you all like it and once again all comments are welcome.. / Thankyou very much for looking! • A stunning Scottish sunset behind a wind farm near Thurso on Scotlands North coast. The low lying fog really sets the turbines off. One of my favourites.

  • This was around the back of the farm

  • Taken in a local area of what I term Pretty Land which has been a happy hunting ground for me over recent years with the camera – lots of paths, gated roads and easy access, with plenty to look at if you can be bothered to take the time – The nearest village is Mowsley. / Most folk miss this area by driving straight through the main road from Market Harborough to Lutterworth, yet either side of them are some of the most wonderful vistas in Leicestershire to photograph in the main light of day as opposed to early or late starts – but you do need a good old out of date OS map to find some of the paths and roads (and more ground clearance than I have under my car for some of them!)

  • A second landscape from the Mowsley/Laughton area of Leicestershire, UK. This image was featured as image of the day at Fotopic.net on 16th May 2008 / Not long ago, I posted this, below, from a location nearby. I love this land at this time of year. / If you like it and want to buy the pair, click this link to get the second. They look good as a pair on a wall, especially when toplit by a small bulb

  • Northumberland, England

  • Took this with my new HOYA R72 filter. Canon EOS 450D / Tripod / HOYA R72 filter / Lens: Kit 18-55mm IS / ISO400 / f/5 / Exposure: 6 sec / Focal Length: 18mm / Channel swapped in CS2

  • A farm’s hot summer, an exploring child and his dog in beckoning hidden outerreaches, the bow of an overturned red canoe behind them in the stream. / A father runs from his pickup truck across a field in answer to their dog’s barking, to his son who’s been safely pulled from the water to the stream’s bank. I’m not sure why I painted this, but it has something to do with everything being all right after all. I wanted the trees and sky in on the emergency, a kind of frantic air that’s offset by the calmness of the waiting family dog, who knew what he was doing and how to do it. And a child who will do it all again tomorrow.

  • My Website Another version of the sun rising on a misty morning that I shot last week outside my front door Featured in Freedom To Shine Group / Copyright /

  • Abandoned farm at the end of the day somewhere in South Dakota / FEATURED in Rural Around the Globe 10.09 / Featured in South Dakota / 10.09 / /

  • Sunflowers near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

  • Sunset on Ninghan Station, Western Australia. The Australian outback is vast and electricity is not available in many areas. The water tank and a windmill are used on remote properties for pumping underground water to the surface. / Captured with Nikon D300. /

  • Farmers Quarters close to Bay City Michigan, there are three of these in a row, all abandoned and falling down. Nikon D90 / 18-200 mm VR Lens /

  • The sun came out and dried up the tears of the day, bringing the beauty of this old barn before my eyes! / Photographed in Thompson Ridge, NY, USA / / /
