  • This was taken on an utterly magnificent farm near the Grampians in Victoria. It’s so sad to see the effects of the drought first hand – the paddocks were just dust.

  • More from the Lightscapes Set More from the Black and White Set Two young cows playing around in the afternoon with magical back lighting. This is one of the first photos taken on my first d-slr!

  • Fisheye and HDR, I found him on the way up the tallest mountain in Costa Rica. The cows there seem to be very curious.

  • This is Hope my Lurcher, on a snowy febuary day in 2007, she wasn’t that keen on the weather but did oblige me with this quirky shot. I have another Lurcher called Grace as well as Rubicon and Renegade the Ferrets who complete the team, Hope has the nose for finding quarry and Grace has the speed to fill my freezer. Here are the two dogs playing in the snow.

  • western victoria, australia / EOS400D 17-40 f/4L / 2 RAW images stitched / Post processing in Photoshop /

  • THE LAST WORKS (CLIKC IMAGE FOR VIEW) / . / /

  • These beautiful pear trees bloomed in our backyard every spring when we lived on the little farm near Monroe, Wisconsin. Rendered in pastels, they turned out to be a perfect subject! This painting was awarded a “State Exhibit Award” on February 16, 2008, in the Wisconsin Regional Artists Association Program, which means it is eligible for the state competition in Fall 2008. Of all my recent artwork, this is the one of which I am most proud!

  • I took this shot today while I was at Enniskillen Orchard in the Grose Vale region of the Hawkesbury district.. / The orchard is located on the Sydney Farm Gate Trail. It is a wonderful place and the nostalgic country-style shed really sets the scene for an orchard.. / Hopefully one day soon I will get the opportunity to photograph some of the wonderful sights that can be found in the orchard itself.. / I would definitely have to encourage anyone passing through, or living in, the Hawkesbury to drop in and try some of the local produce, it is a great place.. / I couldnt really think of a title for this one so any suggestions would be great, and as usual comments are more then welcome :) / Thanks for having a look!! • Another rather sad and disturbing indication of the severity of the current drought that is ravaging the countryside and farms of Australia. Rusty Lakebed / Author: martin steinbrugger Many times life can seem like a thirsty barren land… / As though all our hopes and dreams, / Are little more than rusty grains of sand. Parched by disappointment time and time again… / Without hope life is but a severe drought, / That seems to have no end. Like clouds looming on the horizon withholding their rain… / So too, unless we let go of our past, / We can never be healed from all our pain. Apart from God we are as trees without water, / Destined too whither and die… / For God is the source of our eternal hope, / Through whom all life is meant to thrive! Inspired by Phil Thomson’s photo “Rusty Lakebed”

  • The saying “red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning. Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight” was very true and evident this particular day, at Staughton Vale, near Geelong. / The same warning was also spoken of by Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, in the Bible, centuries ago. Matthew 16:1-3 The Pharisees and Sadducees Seek a Sign 1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. /

  • Color pencil drawing of a little girl reading to a horse and cat.

  • This not a re-do of my original. I created a new scene with a different tree and horse and added lighting effects. The lonely horse and tree come together. Hope you like it as much as my first one! Add me to your watch list now / My Bubblesite / Copyright © by Lenz Photo Shop, All Rights Reserved.
