BABY BULL GETS FAMOUS!!! GRIFFITH REVIEW!! CLICK TO LEARN MORE / Sales of this Design? – 3 sales so far :) / / / “Moo Cow Sunrise Family”: by Karin Taylor is another digital design based on Baby Bull Production (click here to see more) / Baby Bull Production is something I created not that long ago. It’s a mixed media piece on canvas textured paper…...i did it in response to the chilled out cows at Mullumbimby, northern New South Wales, who seem to be very laid back, i suspect they are indulging in the ‘other’ kind of grass also….... they have this real chilled look about them, and I’ve never seen cows anywhere else that have this way about them. I put it in the Casino Art Exhibition and it was the only painting that sold, every year a male school teacher goes to that show, or so the legend goes…....and purchases a piece…...it was my lucky year. Tonight I was asked if I’d ever sold a painting in a gallery…well, yes, and at exhibitions and privately. To date I believe I have sold between 30 and 40 original paintings, which I am very proud of…..in the early days 2002 I was very prolific, things have slowed down a bit with my painting now, because i am much more deliberate and take a lot of time to imbue my paintings with layers and love and depth…..it is just how i have grown as an artist, it is nice to report that there is growth along the journey…(and sales lol)!!! Somebody also has a print of these cows and loves them very much from what I understand lol

Sales of this TShirt ? – 1 sale so far :) / Baby Bull Production TShirt by Karin Taylor Baby Bull Production is something I created not that long ago. Model – Meluxine These are some outtake/alternates from the same shoot as Apple Blossom Girl – I actually took LOTS of shots from that set and am having strife picking the final shots to use, and since I treat RB as an alt/outtake spot as well as a preview/never before seen/standard portfolio, I figured what the hell ;) This particular pair were shot on my late Grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820 on god knows what film, Fuji NPS 160 I thiiiiink… or possibly Portra 400NC. I had no idea what to expect, having never put film through the damn thing before, so the fact they worked and looked delightfully dreamy was very cool. These are scanned from the 120 neg, straight off the camera – no editing aside from putting them next to each other and whacking my watermark on them. Woohoo. Every one loves an icecream cone! But would you lick an EyeScream Cone? This image was constructed useing extreame macros of eyes (balls) from family members. Each of the eyes was removed from the eye sockets and stuck in a screaming cone! Here’s looking at you! Sold this t shirt to at least 5 mystery buyers. No comment not a member, not anyone I know (I have also sold a couple to family members as well!)

I took this portrait of my father-in-law after a day of lamb marking on the farm. For those of you unsure of what Lamb Marking is, here’s a little insight….. The purpose of lamb marking is to identify, castrate and dock the tails of lambs. The lambs are restrained in a cradle and Ear Marked. In NSW it is compulsory to put the owner’s registered mark in the ear using specially designed ear-marking pliers. They are then Ear tagged in the center of the ear or slightly towards the end. / To castrate the sheep a rubber ring is placed over the scrotum just above the testicles. The ring blocks blood circulation, causing the scrotum and testicles to eventually wither and fall off. To remove their tails a gas-heated de-tailer is used. The heat cauterises the blood vessels, which virtually eliminates bleeding. Sometimes not all blood vessels are cauterised, hence the blood splatter. But the alternative is to cut the tails off with a knife which leaves the sheep to bleed. / And amongst all of that they are also given their vaccination (which is what I did to over 460 lambs). And yes, I know this may be controversial…
