They’ve had their day, and now they are nailed to a post for a rag.
This is a photo I took years ago, when I was using film. It is a picture of our back yard, on our farm. My dad loved our farm, so I included it in a slideshow I prepared for his memorial dinner.

This is an HDR shot that I took on my girlfriend’s property the other day.. / This old shed has always taken my interest as to how it may turn out as a subject for photography so I decided to get out of my car and take some snaps.. / I hope you all like it and once again all comments are welcome.. / Thankyou very much for looking! I took this shot today while I was at Enniskillen Orchard in the Grose Vale region of the Hawkesbury district.. / The orchard is located on the Sydney Farm Gate Trail. It is a wonderful place and the nostalgic country-style shed really sets the scene for an orchard.. / Hopefully one day soon I will get the opportunity to photograph some of the wonderful sights that can be found in the orchard itself.. / I would definitely have to encourage anyone passing through, or living in, the Hawkesbury to drop in and try some of the local produce, it is a great place.. / I couldnt really think of a title for this one so any suggestions would be great, and as usual comments are more then welcome :) / Thanks for having a look!! Whilst competing in a Rogaine in SW Western Australia my mate and I stumbled upon a deserted farmhouse and out buildings. Because we were camping overnight in roughly the same area I managed to get back the next morning to get a few shots. I only hope I can find my way back there as there are lots of shots to be made.
This was around the back of the farm
Well this is one of those occasions when I turned to the husband and said: “Stop, stop the car, I saw something back there I need to shoot!” / I just couldn’t pass up trying to capture this old barn on the way out the beach this morning. Found this barn along the Oka Rd in Ste-Marthe-sur-le-lac, Quebec CANADA, July 2008 just about 5 minutes from home. If you are ever not coping with life, be creative! It brings you out of the doldrums in a big way! The satisfaction of seeing something that you created is a wonderful feeling. I hope that this feeling comes across in these series, created in December 2008. Has anyone else noticed how much this person Anonymous wrote & no-one seems to know where he lived, what he looked like?! He was so talented, wasn’t he?! This photograph of Queensland Railway Tracks was taken in February 2005. It is taken in the morning between Quilpie and Charleville, looking west. There is more to come in this series, still being created! This card (graphics) were designed in December 2008, using Photoshop. If purchasing as a motivational, inspirational or greeting card, the BLACK background blends is well with the black border. It is available up to POSTER size, if that is your desire! I only hope that you find this as inspiring as I found it when creating it! Tech Data / Nikon D70s

Pastel on Mein Teintes paper (blue) – 60cm x 35cm I had to go digging way back into the ‘archives’ to find something involving shadows and sheds for a challenge! I pass this rural scene on my way home from work every day (the cow is not always in the same spot, and they have a few goats now)!!!! Featured in ‘Mornings & Evenings, Sunbeams & Storms’ group – August 2009
