Old deserted Irish Farm. Very overgrown with major decay having set in. This has an old glass plate photographic effect.
This is a copy of a Mod that Rain did for me a long time ago. I can’t find the Original so I have tried my best to emulate what she did for me :) See HIS

This old tractor and cart reside on a property which has been dontated to Council locally – as you can see by the sign leaning on the cart, they used to sell honey and eggs to the locals. This has been treated with a few filters in Photoshop to try for an ink/sepia wash look. Landscapes Trees Cards EOD Rusty Flowers Architecture Macro CatchAll DM

An old abandoned Farm house in Yorkshire, a place called Crow edge, not much left now, The person i went with today told me she used to play in here when she was a child, it was empty then!! such a shame, this really was a beautiful house, more pics to follow soon of the outside.
Inside the old derelict stable i found at the weekend, seems to have been a shelter for sheep, judging by the amount of sheep droppings were inside!!

Old Farm house in Blacker hill, just down the road from us, never knew this place existed until my good friend Andy Harris, stumbled across it last week purely by accident!, so we went down today for an explore.
This shot is of one of the bedrooms in the old farmhouse. This was a very creepy and surreal scene. This old homestead in the Muskoka region of Ontario, refuses to surrender to the elements. “Under none of the accredited ghostly circumstances, and environed by none of the conventional ghostly surroundings, did I first make acquaintance with the house. I saw it in the daylight, with the sun upon it. There was no wind, no rain, no lightning, no thunder, no awful or unwonted circumstance, of any kind, to heighten its effect.”~Charles Dickens

The Tragic History Behind These Shots / I just had to revisit the abandoned farmhouse where I shot the image The Tenant / / / / This is a view from the kitchen looking in from the outside… the windows are all beat out of the house and you cannot get to the kitchen from the inside because the floor is unstable and you’ll probably end up in the basement. So I had to improvise and go outside to get this shot. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / More In This Series / / / / / / / / / / / / /
An HDR photo of the sun setting through the window of this old house found in rural Saskatchewan. I have driven by this old house on several occasions but have never stopped to photograph it. I couldn’t have timed it better…the sun could be seen setting through the window of the house…captivating! I found another abandoned farm house yesterday… everything was left as it was. There were still books in the bookcase and dishes in the cupboard. I am a little nervous on entering this one because it is REALLY deteriorated. / / / You never know what lurks in the shadows… / / Canon 400D w/ Canon 10-22mm lens / 3 shots (raw) / Photomatix / Lightroom & cs3 / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / BEST VIEWED LARGER / / Click HERE for more of my Series on abandonment / / / / Click HERE for more of my Series on abandonment / / .

Best Viewed On Full Size It’s got that “Nobody’s Home” look … Back in the day when we wanted to visit, we tightened up our pincurls, tied our robes tight, slipped into our slippers, grabbed our coffee and walked next door. Although this wonderful old abandoned farm house is stuck out in the middle of (apparent) nowhere … it’s right smack dab ON route 30 just a bit west of Chambersburg, PA … and I like to think that the farm wives did visit back and forth, too.
