About and hour and a half south of Melbourne lies Inverloch. A fishing and boating town it is surrounded by green rolling hills and beautiful farmland. Taken in a local area of what I term Pretty Land which has been a happy hunting ground for me over recent years with the camera – lots of paths, gated roads and easy access, with plenty to look at if you can be bothered to take the time – The nearest village is Mowsley. / Most folk miss this area by driving straight through the main road from Market Harborough to Lutterworth, yet either side of them are some of the most wonderful vistas in Leicestershire to photograph in the main light of day as opposed to early or late starts – but you do need a good old out of date OS map to find some of the paths and roads (and more ground clearance than I have under my car for some of them!)

As soon as I came across this lone lamb, I was reminded of the old hymn by Ira Sankey, based on Matthew 18:13…. The Ninety and Nine.
