Wurrumbu Creek, in the heart of Mosman Gorge in Far North Queensland. The creek and gorge are sacred to the Kuku Yalanji people who say that their ancestral spirits still reside in the area. While taking this photograph, I formed the distinct impression that the rainforest was watching me, even though I was alone at the creek. An eerie experience.
Millstream Falls in the Tablelands, Far North Queensland, one of the widest waterfalls in Australia. Given its size, I felt that focusing on a part of the whole would make for a very different picture.

A lady in a kimono wandering down a busy Ginza road. I loved the angle her body was doing naturally, so you can see her Kimono really well.

Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Banksia plagiocarpa From the Proteaceae Family. / Banksia...after Sir Joseph Banks. / plagiocarpa... From Greek plagios, oblique or sideways and carpos, a fruit, referring to the upturned lip on the open follicles of the fruit. Banksia plagiocarpa is a medium shrub to about 5 metres in height. It was originally collected in the 1860s but remained unnamed and was not collected again until rediscovered in the early 1980s. The leaves are about 100-200 mm long by up to 15 mm wide and are narrowly elliptical in shape with recurved margins which may be entire or serrated. Found in Far North Queensland – Regarded as rare in the wild. I found this Banksia at Sailor’s Creek, Cape North Peninsula, Far North Queensland. 100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of “Banksia Plagiocarpa” will be donated to “thegreataustraliancancerbushwalk” for the Cancer Council. THIS IS A BIG IMAGE VIEW LARGER FOR BEST RESULTS Isnt it a buzz when you get that perfect light, the shades of day as it is born, as the first rays light up an already magnificent view ? For those viewing, commenting and favouriting if i’m lucky thank you This shot was taken from Echo Point in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at dawn, it was created from 5 bracketed images using a Nikon D300 fitted with a Nikon 18-200mm. No filters were used. The image was taken at sunset certainly a great view. The Blue Mountains are located 2 hours west of Sydney by road, also by train for visitors to Sydney, there are also organised day trips via motor coach that will take you to the area for the day…. though if you have the time spend a few days in the area. You can see all the attractions, have a devonshire tea in one of the many teahouses, or sit on the edge of the valley that seems to go on forever, and listen to the birdlife. Bushwalking is a must ! Equipment : D300 Nikon 18-200mm lens / Technique: HDR 5 Exposures Photomatix Framed / See Also / !

Assemblage. Mixed media: Linen thread, collage, rag paper, acrylic, assembled on canvas. Size: 335×415 x 32 mm / Hanging format – Pages can be turned to view the different sections. From the Exhibition Elevating the Spirit “The world is full of resonance’s. It constitutes a cosmos of things exerting a spiritual action. The dead matter is a living spirit.” (Wassily Kandinsky from Article ‘On the question of the form’) Archetypes and symbols: the thread ‘tracks’ are a metaphor for transition between states of being, planes of paint, spirit and matter; forms of vessels, grids and planes echo containment within levels; colour resonates with symbology, emotion and memory.
From my recent travels to Far North Queensland. Cape Tribulation Beach where the rainforest meets the ocean in the Daintree National Park. Located on the northern side of the Cape Tribulation headland this the most sheltered location when the south east trade winds are blowing.
