An angel sits by the water’s edge and gazes toward a home she desperately misses. I suppose I could make this my second autobiographical piece after Foreign World. I may not be an angel, but I miss the town and house I grew up in. The sky is a photo of a fingerpainting I did yesterday (it was way too big to scan) and has only undergone slight colour alteration and slight blurring. Everything else is pure photoshop magic.

This is my entry into the For Living Christianity group competition, day three, Genesis. this is a sunset taken a couple of weeks ago here in Irvine, California a few years ago combined with several sunset images I took here in Mohave Valley, Arizona a couple of weeks ago. I used Photoshop CS3 to overlay the images. Then I used Photomatix to enhance the final image into an HDR image. BEST VIEWED LARGER This shot was taken from Echo Point in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at sunset, it was created from 4 bracketed images using a Nikon D300 fitted with a Nikon 18-200mm. No filters were used. The Blue Mountains are located 2 hours west of Sydney by road, also by train for visitors to Sydney, there are also organised day trips via motor coach that will take you to the area for the day…. though if you have the time spend a few days in the area. You can see all the attractions, have a devonshire tea in one of the many teahouses, or sit on the edge of the valley that seems to go on forever, and listen to the birdlife. Bushwalking is a must !

Loved The Colours This is pure HDR generated from 5 bracketted images This shot was taken at Newport Wharf which is located on the shores of Pittwater north of Sydney. Easily accessable by car or public transport. Its the kind of place where you can wind down at the end of the day with a cold beer or a glass of Australian Chardonnay and watch the sun set in the west.. This is my neighbourhood about 5 minutes from my home, “Just a Little Touch of Paradise.” we get some great sunsets in winter Framed Print / / ! / So if youre visiting Sydney areas like this are within 40 klms of the city
