The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. The species inhabiting Kershmick, of the Dresham System, would be found to be compatible with Earthlings. Although less advanced than ours their civilisation is family unit oriented and progressive in the arts and study of nature. Their absolute dedication to the family unit puts marriage, and the bearing of offspring above all activities other than those of pure survival. This, however, often takes precedence over the natural selection of partners through compatibility and, what we know as, love. Many, like this young bride of the region known as Ravenswood, are forced into arranged marriages. Institutions that know no end unless brought about by the death of one of the union.

I got really bored for a bit this afternoon, had a fleeting thought, then played around. I’m not really sure how I feel about this one yet. I gave it an almosted painted feel to it, you can’t really see the detail in the previews here that you can full size. Oh, yeah, forgot, yep that’s me. / (I just wanted to see myself on a card…) This piece was featured in the Live, Love, Dream group. THANK YOU!!

I finally got inspired to finish her. I made her a lot bigger than the others in the series, so that should appease her for me taking so long on her. / She is the Spirit of the North Wind. It is the wind of Winter and of death, but also of rebirth. She gives us the wisdom to overcome death and to know it is not the end. We must walk through the Northern gate at the end of this life and she will be the one to usher us through. Listen to cold Winter wind, and let her help you release your fears into the darkness of the night. Also from the Series
