  • Dragon art. The old saying is true. Never judge a book by it’s cover. How many times during the course of life have you prejudged someone by their appearance without getting to know what makes them tick? Is it because they aren’t pleasing to your eyes or that they are different that they aren’t worth your time? / Here our friendly dragon is cooling off from the heat of the evening. These gentle giants never judge anyone and will always welcome you to get up close and personal in the land of Bryce. © 2008 Dave Moilanen

  • This is an illustration that i made for a story that i wrote. The story is about a boy that lost al the second halfs of his socks. His big brother tells him then of the sockmonster that is living under his bed. They like to live under the bed of young kids with a lot of junk on there rooms. they eat dust and collect socks for their nest. they have big noses and go from under the bed out night to search for new socks. if the monster lives long under your bed he will grow very large. acryl on paper other works from this story / featured in the Dutch Connection june 9th / featured in Piainters in Modern Times june 17th / featured in International Superheroes of illustration july 15th + October 7th

  • The White King’s Rook / Artist: LilyM / Biography: Danny The King’s Flank are guarded by a an ancient stone giant (Titan) that was summoned from sleep by the Scholars and practitioners of the University of the Gear. Over the years and with collaboration with the ancient rites, structures were able to be built upon the titan and secret instructions whispered through its thoughts to protect the King should the occasion arise. /

  • The Black Queen-Rook’s Pawn / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny Due to enormous size of the Black Queens Basilisk flank creature, they are able to support parasitical minions that sweep before them in a wave not unlike locust on the wing. / Combined they make a formidable force as they stream across the battlefield, but will often separate when the fight is underway. Due to their fast swarming movements they are often referred to as “The Stain” /

  • The Black King-Rook’s Pawn (The Spawn) / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny You will find them stationed around the pens of the monolith and they are used to maintain the health and well being of the King’s favourite beast. Crab-like creatures, they are used during times of inactivity as cleaning device for the Monolith, keeping it free of fleas and other parasites. Initially able to launch a longer-range assault by hurling highly-volatile Monolith dung from their excretion glands, their effectiveness is soon reduced to that of foot soldiers and cannon fodder during battle. /
