Pencils and ink / ‘O then, I see, Queen Mab hath been with you. She is the fairies’ midwife…Her wagon spokes made of long spinner’s legs: The cover, of the wings of grasshoppers; Her traces, of the smallest spider’s web; Her collars, of the moonshine’s watery beams…And in this state she gallops, night by night, through lovers’ brains, and then they dream of love.’ Bits from Romeo and Juliet: Act 1, scene 1V
yes, I did dream this, all the way back in 1989. Immediately drew it in pencil and it has remained one of my favourite drawings. Decided to clean it up digitally and here it is.
Pen and ink illustration colored using colored pencils before being scanned into PhotoShop and having the background digitally added.

My Painting is Featured in Painters in Modern Times / (Thanks Everyone!) Acrylic on Canvas. / This is an example of my illustration work I create for children’s books and various other commissioned projects. / This is a fantasy piece centered around the life under the ocean. It is very whimsical and also organic. I created a sea vine that is as alive as the fish I created. It is unfurling into the ocean with it’s sea flowers blooming on it. This piece actually has areas that glow in the dark, that add a dimension and fun! Who doesn’t like glow in the dark (be honest). The colors are bold and the shapes and life are simple and captivating to me, which I hope captivates you as well. An illustration for a short children’s story I had in my head once. About a girl who falls asleep and gets to ride a whale’s back and fly through the sky, into space. =D

Ink drawing. / This is from my old school sketch book (nearly 30 years ago!!). I bought a cheap rotring pen, was trying out different techniques and this just came along. I tried doing some more but didn’t really have any other ideas. It’s been cropped because I couldn’t fit it in the scanner, but I think it looks better.
Another one of my illustrations. This one was done a few hours ago,
