How exciting is it to get your images delivered to the house…all printed up? VERY!! I’ve been plodding along for some years now, getting my designs photo copied, then cutting them up and sticking them onto cards. Labour intensive, but it’s always given me a kick that people want to buy them. But to see them printed up professionally has given me a new insight into my work. I’ve been thinking about biting the bullet re having them printed up for some time now….having ordered a few for myself, has helped me see them in a new light, and has made my mind up once and for all. Look out world…here I come. Thank you so much to Red Bubble for helping me out of the creative ‘doldrums’....I’ve been treading water for some time now…and with all the encouragement and these really well printed up images, I feel as though I’ve a new lease on life. / Thanks a heap to you all…people who’ve taken time to check me out and the team at Red Bubble. I can’t thank you enough.

The doorbell rang this morning, just as my husband and I (sound just like the queen) were eating our breakfast. We looked at each other wondering who it could be calling at 7.30 am?? / My husband shuffled to the door and opened it to find a young man standing there with his arms filled with a very intriguing looking package… / “MY MOUNTED PRINTS HAVE ARRIVED FROM RED BUBBLE” I cried out in delight. What excitement!!....you see…I have bitten the bullet and spent $220 out of my nest egg on 4 of my images to see if they might sell in a gallery I put my work into. I haven’t tried to sell graphic art before, so I’m hoping that it will be accepted….but more than the exciting prospect of possible sales, I’m thrilled to bits with the quality of the printing and finished results. Beautifully lightweight and with a high gloss finish, I think they look fantastic. Even if they don’t sell….I shall be more than happy to hang them in my home. Sorry about all the superlatives….but it’s been rather like Christmas opening the package and finding something of such good quality. THANK YOU REDBUBBLE…I’m stoked :-)

A great interview with a fantastic woman, here / ,Judy does street photography and she is amazing,I told her once that she was everywhere and she answered”just somewhere else every time”She very discrete so discrete that you won’t even see her taking a shot of you.She made amazing candid shots, unique and unforgettable. Many beautiful portraits and,...well you will have to go and see by yourself,it’s worth it.She’s just great !!!! / My fav… / / / / / My Creativity / I think it’s about daring to do less conventional compositions and seing more the details then the entire picture (street) / How does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspects / of your life? / All my life i chose to do what i like and not what possibly would have brought more money, but would have made me hate work. / I’m rather an individualist and as such ,i like to be on my own . I take my camera mostly everywhere and my friends may be a bit fedup of that:) . / Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful? / Many great moments but 2 that i particularly cherish are: / 1) When my dog was sick and i needed suport and advise ,this comunity was a great help. / 2)The first time one of my pics was featured on the front page .I was so surprised and it took me quite a while to figure out how come so many people comented on it.It was ,this pictureHome of a homeless / / Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you? / Being a street photographer myself this one would be from “Jean / M.Laffitau..Paso Doble / / David Malcolmson / London tourists / / A picture made by Zoltan / “Dreaming with with-horses / / This one by Docophoto / Learning to read / / Last but not leastMicmac / Gramma’s hat / / / Thank you so much for accepting this interview …it’s there at last,RB had a few problems the last few days I think ,big kiss Judy …..and thanks for choosing «Gramma’s hat» /

I have a short attention span. Which is likely why I can’t settle on any one genre of photography and DEFINATELY why the thought of answering 50 questions sets my insides a-trembling. So instead I though I would give you just TEN completely weirdarse things about me. 1. I have a phobia of touching frozen things. When I do its like nails going down a chalkboard {{shudders}} 2. I can suck spaghetti into my mouth and wriggle it about so that it comes out of my nose. I know… its a God-given talent, you have my permission to be envious. 3. If I see someone else’s spit in the bathroom sink when I go to brush my teeth I will throw up. EVERY time! I think thats a hangover from when I was pregnant with my eldest and had morning sickness… every day. I even threw up the morning I gave birth to him! 4. I have weirdarse little toes. All the others are perfectly formed but my little toe is a freak. Its like when I was made the big-fella upstairs ran out of moulding clay or something and didn’t have enough to finish me because his clay order wasn’t due to be delivered until Monday. 5. I only ever use Smart Sugar in my coffee, and yet I have not noticed a notable increase in my IQ. 6. I own a beanie with ear flaps. WHAT? Like I care about fashion when my aural health is at stake? 7. I can say the alphabet backwards faster than I can say it forwards. Hmmm… maybe that Smart Sugar is working! 8. I can’t sleep unless I have at least a top and knickers on. Don’t get me wrong, I am no prude by any means… I happily dance naked around the house – weather permitting – but I have this fear that there is going to be an emergency in the middle of the night and I am going to find myself out on the curb without a stitch on! NOT nice for the neighbours giggles 9. I have an amazingly athletic and versatile tongue and yet I couldn’t whistle until I was in my 20’s… What’s that? You want to know what I can do with my tongue? Suffer baby…. 10. My very first macro shot got featured in the 1:1 Macro group today. 10. When it gets really cold like it is now I’m afraid my bum is going to freeze to the toilet seat 10. Ummmm…. I forget… okay, that whole short attention span thing has just kicked in. 10. I once ate 3 dozen choc chip muffins and 2 litres of custard in one sitting. Ok… so that last one is a lie… BUT I AM HUNGRY DAMNIT!

September 2008 ...That Fish Is Back Again!!!!! :D / Everyone’s artwork looks fantastic and thank you so much for the honor!!! ....and the fish thanks you too… ;) Mixed Media, 20” x 20” A Fish Out Of Water There’s more ocean in fish than fish in the ocean… Nature is wise, but Mankind… just bumbling fools. Learn from the living, watch water in motion, Don’t waste your time staring at small stagnant pools. Fish are content to live their life in water, Water is after all their life’s element. There’s no need for them to be an “achiever,” Living, staying alive… that’s accomplishment. But there was one fish wanting something “better”, He wanted “achievement,” he wanted a “first.” He leapt out of water, fins in quick flutter, Taking fast to the sky… but soon died of thirst… / Poem by Peter. Mark has offered some outstanding and informative journals on photographic techniques and data care. These offer an insight into the kinds of things that you can learn by doing, over and over and over…..so having Mark put them all here for you to take in is an absolute boon! I can’t emphasise enough the need to get OUT there to practice, the ones listed here, and every other technique you’ve picked up over time. You will never take good photos if you don’t pick up that camera and use it, and use it regularly. So anyway, enough of the rant…..here are some of Mark’s words of wisdom: Candid Street Photography Casual Portraits Exposure for beginners/intermediate photographers And one that just needs to be said Your Data, Computers, and not so common sense

I am really pleased when a Canvas Print sells, and this was an extra large Canvas print…RB does such a fabulous job reproducing the brush strokes, it almost tactile… / This painting is one of my particular favourites, as there are so many different textured layers, including lots of metallics…I drew extensively on my imagination here and Blake’s verse says it all.. / The Trees…Imagination The tree which moves some to tears of joy, is in the eyes of others, only a green thing that stands in the way. / Some see Nature all ridicule and deformity, and some scarce see Nature at all. / But to the eyes of the man of imagination, Nature is Imagination itself.
