Did this back in 2004~ like Light Up My Path, this was done with a reference image too.. i was still a beginner back then.. so the eyes and ears sux but i love the teeth.. the original photo looks better of course.. it’s a japanese guy i think.. i think it’s Gackt.. can’t remember.. dun kill me!! O_O” Vector drawn in Flash.. i suck at illustrator.. too lazy.. hehe.. / and since i’ll still be busy with stupid html proj till the end of the week, i’ll just be uploading some of my older stuffs.. hold tat rotten tomatoes!!! aAARgghH!!! Portrait in progress of actor Hugh Laurie from my favorite TV show of all times, “House.” I often lose interest in portraits half-way through, so drawing him as a zombie definitely keeps me interested! Probably 2 hours of work so far… about 2 more to go :) / Will post finished result eventually. Materials: smooth bristol paper 14×17in, and graphite pencils Tee design / more updates here /

T_T This is the last vector portrait i did last time.. the first one being the Old Untitled Piece that i’ve uploaded a few days ago.. ever since i first upload this piece at gfxartist and got a massive comments on it, i came to a decision.. i don’t ever want to do another piece of rip-off. well, to me it’s rip off. somebody took a photo, i do a vector version of it. So yep! That’s the last of my old vector pieces.. n_n / There is still one more.. not a portrait.. just a teapot and a cup.. sorta chinese style i guess.. don’t know if i should upload it.. Oo” Will start vectoring a lil something for Vector Goodness Lounge’s Monster Mascot Competition tomorrow!! but from now till nite, will just do wat’s left of the stupid cms project and end it.

My latest Photoshop piece created for my brother’s 18th birthday. Dogma is from a Yu-Gi-Oh card and is not my own character / I used a crappy scanned card for reference so not all the details are exactly the same (as pointed out by my bro). I created the character in a whole new pose. This was an experiment with lighting and form without resorting to an outline. / I was pretty happy with the outcome. I hope you like it too! / Any criticism and ideas for improvement will be well appreciated.

The character Darius, from the Highlander: The Series, as played by German actor Werner Stocker . I always thought he had an interesting face, and he also fit my mental image of the character Robinton in Anne McCaffrey’s Pern books. It was with sadness that I found he had died shortly after I had seen him on tv in 1993. This is a little tribute, I suppose.
