3 baby turtles swimming around. Their world is limited to a 5 foot water tank… That leaves me thinking. Maybe is better that they be imprisoned rather than killed in the ocean. No way. There is nothing better than freedom. Taken in Xcaret, Mexico.

While visiting family in Ohio at Christmas we went to the graveyard where many of my family are buried (some dating back to the 1700’s). The purpose of the visit was to photograph some of my families historic gravestones and to mix in some sense of history and family for my ten year old. My father died before either of my sons were born, so they never got the chance to meet their Grandfather who was a great man. While taking photos of some of the other headstones, my two year old got tired and out of all the headstones around us went over and sat on my dad, his grandfathers stone!! It was as if he was saying hi grandpa.
