Partially frozen falls along Beaver Meadow Brook, North Hyde Park, Vermont. Pentax K20D. This is a combination of two horizontal images stacked to create one vertical image.
On an early, frosty morning, everything was covered in ice crystals. The early hour and the shade caused a bluish tone, which I emphasized even more. / Nikon D40x and 18-135 mm zoom lens.

Every year I dry some of my Hydrangeas to place in vases around the house…this was fresh and pink when I did the photo in July and is shown that way in my garden website…but today I decided to add the sepia treatment to it as I did the last one…actually I did three photos in all..this is the second one…I think the leaves look like velvet they will make a lovely set hanging together on a wall .. Dragoons, I tell you the white hydrangeas / turn rust and go soon. / Already mid September a line of brown runs / over them. / One sunset after another tracks the faces, the / petals. / Waiting, they look over the fence for what / way they go. These pale peachy yellow Day Lilies from my garden in Toronto, Ont.Canada, are submerged by the Fallopia Japonica all summer long… they bloom beautifully beside the shrub, which provides great contrast with it’s splashy painted leaves…at the end of the day the sun is just kissing them with light…I have a huge variety of daylilies and have given them their own pages in my garden website….I thought I would share some with you.. unedited and as is / DayLily 2
