The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. I took this photo in Pontypool park. A great place to go for a stroll, its peaceful and pretty and this particular morning there were sunbeams where ever we looked. It was breathtaking. / / /

floating in my small home made lily pond this past fall. I darkened the tones of the whole image a notch or two here plus cropped-sharpened once…. Natures own elements provided the real beauty I find in it… Jewel tones in the water like Sapphires, Emeralds and Citrines come from the ponds surrounding tree line. What a magical place this is Natural Bridge (also known as Natural Arch), in the World Heritage-listed, Springbrook National Park, Queensland, Australia. Over millions of years, the waters of the mountain fed Cave Creek has worn away at the basalt cave roof, to create this natural wonder. Home to a colony of glow-worms, only visible after sunset. The short hiking walk takes you through some beautiful rainforest, most of the time, you can hear the falling waters of these falls. A must see if you come to the area! Canon 50D, 14mm.
