This intimate, bright yet dark, static yet flowing, autumn themed image was made in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA in October 2006. I like the contrast of the flowing water beneath the still branches, the pop of color from the remaining birch leaves, and the juxtaposition of the branch atop the stream in tone and color! /

The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area in northeastern Pennsylvania boasts many beautiful streams and waterfalls. This stream, in the Childs Park Recreation Area above Fulmer Falls happened to catch my eye, captured in full springtime flow. The upper Swan River, one of the Perth main atractions after heavy rain. / The sun settles behind the hills and its rays reflecting off the hills are creating this pastel water colours. / This is the area where competitors will challenge the Avon and Swan rivers in a variety of paddle and power craft in an exciting two-day time on 1st of August. This was taken along the trail to Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park. I found this spot particularly picturesque so i composed a few slower exposures.

Stopped at Nigretta Falls near Hamilton Victoria on our way to Melbourne last week. Nice amount of water passing over the summit at the moment thanks to recent rains. Canon 400D with 17-85 lens. CIR Polariser to help slow the flow rate. No ND filter with me (Damn!) but the overcast day helped.

I am always searching for interesting waterfalls around my hometown. I stumbled accross this one about 15 minutes from my home. Papermill falls is located just outside the village of Avon NY. My friend and fellow Red Bubbler BIGD set out yesterday on what turned out to be a gloomy rainy day, yet we were able to find get some excellent shots. I appreciate him drivig all that way to go on the shoot. I think I am still drying out.
