My favorite path through the woods!!!
My submission for the letter F* in Alphabet Soup Group. Plymbridge Woods and the River Plym: In the Plym Valley:* These falls are simply stunning and when the river is in full flood they are spectacular. Most times though they just trickle over the edge. In the summer months many children, families and youth flock to the river to swim and play in the shallows. A wonderful place for adventure, Tarzan-swings out over the river and picnics on the river-bank. I like the green of the undergrowth and the wild-wood feeling of this great place. / / Captured with a Nikon D40x and 18-55mm Kit Lense.
I finally redid the HDR on this one. Hope everyone likes it. I totally dig it although the I kept the original darker one as my desktop picture (cause it looks great on my mac but apparently is too dark on a PC). Rock on all and let me know what you think. Seriously please critique this one for me. This photo has been driving me nuts since the original HDR was too dark. 5 exposure HDR processed in photomatix. Unsharp mask in GIMP. Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi / Shutter Speed: 160/100 second / F Number: F/14.0 / Focal Length: 18 mm / ISO Speed: 100 / Date Picture Taken: Apr 27, 2009, 3:02:11 AM Currently featured in Stream Crossings group and All Water in Motion group. A lonely Leaf on some wood during a rainy day.
Our Autumn has been terrible this year, alot of rain, and wind, which has rushed the leafs off the trees, but my daughters yard is full of beautiful yellow maple leafs, this one I captured on her deck, I like the contrast between the yellow leaf and the dark wood of the deck. / Taken in Pigeon Michigan / Nikon D90 / 18-200mm VR Lens /
