Mooney Falls is a waterfall on Havasu Creek, in the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Arizona, near the town of Supai in the Havasupai Indian Reservation. It is named after prospector D. W. “James” Mooney who fell to his death trying to cross the canyon on a homemade ladder. Local Native Americans called it “Hualapai” or “Hualpai” falls. It is located about 1 kilometre downstream (i.e. to the north) of Havasu Falls, just past the large campground that lies between the two falls. Mooney Falls is accessible with considerable difficulty down a very steep trail (including two rock tunnels) that has been cut into the rock. Chains and a ladder at the bottom assist, but spray from the falls coats the dust-covered rock with water and reddish mud that makes climbing treacherous.

Another shot of the poor MG and the house this time, i couldnt get any better shot than this due to the lens not fitting between the gaps in the fencing. / To add insult to injury, the poor guy told me that he had just washed and waxed the car and filled it up with fuel the night before!!

A view of the Tipton Place from inside the double pen corn crib. I remember as a child playing hide an seek an peeping around the corner to see if I was close to being found. Early American children had little time to play but I’m sure they had time for games. Perhaps too they snuck out to the corn crib to smoke or take a few swallers of moonshine. Maybe the missus didn’t approve of those vises an dad was the one watching out from the corn crib….side notes here the structure in front back of the fence is the wood shed and the roof ya see back of the place is where they keep there bees which were very profitable.
