I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. Of course I have many different shots just like this :-) I posted a photo in color as well at a different time called – Approaching / Autumn / ....................................................................................................................... / / ....................................................................................................................... / Click to View By Category: / - Waterfall Photos / - Selective Coloring / - Infrared Photos / - Black and White Photos / - Animal Photos / ............................................................................................................... / / ................................................................................................................ /

This Thornseat Lodge, a derelict house in Derbyshire, originally a Gamekeepers house, then in 1934 was turned into an orphange and was stopped being used in the late 80’s, now it is just falling apart, such a waste

Taken at the Waterrun, Royal National Park just south of Sydney. The rainbow is from some wave spray and that’s a little waterfall off to the left. / This shot was taken about an hour before Poetry of Chaos. It was amazing watching the storm come in and the colours changing and the sea swell growing. One of the great privileges of living in this park is watching the same landscapes in a myriad of different moods depending on the weather and time of day. Canon 30D / Tv: 1/6sec / Av: f/25 / ISO: 100 / FL: 18mm Poetry of Chaos:

Just something fun I did Playing around in Photo shop! / I had a image of a girl diving and scanned it into photoshop and created a new blank image and pasted it in. Insted of haveing her vertical I rotated her horizontal, I used the clone tool to paint her bathing suite off, and used the paintbrush to fill in the background with color and clouds, then used a few filters like Gaussian blur on background several times. I drew in the wings and then added effects like emboss to give detail. then just did some color correction and added warm high lights to make it feel as if the sun was above and behind her! I think it came out with a high atmospheric feel! She could just free fall for 5 minutes or so before having to flap her wings
