The fall colours in Nova Scotia can be so beautiful. This picture was taken from a spot in West Pennant called Hospital Hill. Hospital Hill is a couple of miles back in the woods but well worth the hike! When you climb to the top of the hill the views are spectacular, ocean in one direction and hills in the other.

House is on top of a hill in Swan Valley Idaho… Art is interpreted differently as everything is interpreted differently thru a persons eyes. Some might see this as a great house with alot af deapth an A+ picture taking location. Others might connect with it on a deeper more emotional level. They may view themselves as an empty house sitting alone on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere. This might be what some strive for…isolation and silence. Whatever stirs that spark of magic that is still deep down that hasent yet been combed out, spanked out or washed out as you grew to who you are today..Take that magic and run with it!!!!

Old Mans Cave Upper Falls (TOP of FALLS) / The most popular of all the Hocking areas is Old Man’s Cave, located on S.R. 664. Here at Upper Falls, the Grandma Gatewood Trail begins its six-mile course connecting three of the park’s areas: Old Man’s Cave to Cedar Falls to Ash Cave. This same trail has been designated as part of Ohio’s Buckeye Trail as well as part of two national systems—the North Country Scenic Trail and America’s Discovery Trail. Cedar Falls is among the most magnificent waterfalls in Ohio and certainly one of the most popular in the Hocking Hills. No matter what time of year you visit, Cedar Falls Ohio is a sight to behold. The name Cedar Falls is a misnomer — the result of mistaken identity. Early settlers to the area misidentified the stately hemlock trees as cedar trees; consequently, this park was incorrectly named. Despite the mistake, the name Cedar Falls has been used ever since. Nikon D40 18-135mm / Tripod/CPFilter
This is another waterfall in the Hocking Hills State Park in Logan , Ohio. Old Man’s Cave is a well-known name in the Hocking Hills of southeastern Ohio. A favorite hiking destination, Old Man’s Cave Ohio is arguably the most popular of the six areas at Hocking Hills State Park. A mile-long gorge at Old Man’s Cave displays a variety of geologic features, including waterfalls, sandstone cliffs and rock formations with names like the Devil’s Bathtub, Sphinx Head, Eagle Rock and Whale in the Wall. Taken near Telluride, Colorado. A country road led me to this hillside that had a row of Aspen trees glowing with their golden leaves. A small lone cloud appeared almost as if to dot the “i”. /

The first time I visited the mid section of Katoomba Falls I flunked the composition. Second time round I broke a few land-based rules to get the right position. With such depth to capture, as opposed to the “front-on” angle, or even side-on, I find a long exposure, in this case 100 seconds, fills that depth with body. Seeping the light with a 9-stop ND filter, like dripping treacle off a spoon. Or something poetic like that. Canon 5D Mark II, shot in Monochrome. Blue Mountains National Park.
