  A married couple, in their early sixties, were celebrating their 32nd / wedding aniversary at a quiet, romantic little restaurant. / Suddenly, a tiny beautiful Fairy appeared on their table, She said: “For / being such an exemplary married couple and especially for being so / thoughtful and loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you / each a wish. “ “Oh, said the wife. i want to travel around the world with my darling / husband.” The fairy waved her magic wand; and-poof!-two tickets for the Queen / Mary II luxury liner and Ten Thousand Dollars appeared in her hands. Then it was the husband’s turn. / He thought for a minute and said: “Well, this is all very romantic, but / an opportunity like this will never come again. So I’m going with my mind and not my heart.” / “I’m sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than / me.” The wife and the fairy were shocked and disappointed. But a wish is a wish. So, the Fairy waved her magic wand, and-Poof!-the husband became 92 / years old. The moral of the story: Men, who are ungrateful bastards should remember: Fairies are Female.

  Howdy folks! So, some of you have seen my comic over at zuda yes? No? Go! Look now! Then come back and read this little supplemental addition to my Celadorian world, starring Jeunesse – Ness for short. The Tooth Fairy. Some people were intrigued about the involvement of the tooth fairy in the story, and this is just to shed a little more light on her role. She’s Celadore’s business partner, basically. Plus, I decided to leave it at the pencil stage, so you can all see what that looks like before I destroy it with my stiff inking, and soulless colouring. ;o)

  After writing this Valentine’s Day Journal Entry Click Here about how we got engaged I promised people that I would write up the story on how I met my lovely wife. After my divorce and then a short whirlwind romance with a lady over the internet. I figured I was destined to be alone for the rest of my life. Well, it was one day in early December I was invited out for lunch by my mom, along with my brother & his girlfriend. At first I didn’t want to go, because I was still upset over the break-up and didn’t feel like going along. After asking me again & again I finally agreed to go along. We went to a restaurant called Moxie’s. When we arrived I noticed the hostess had a beautiful smile and very bubbly personality. However, I didn’t persue her , I had enough of women for now. I talked to her briefly only cause I dropped my fork three times onto the floor and she replaced it with a smile. Now two weeks later (Dec. 20th) I was chatting on mIRC in #IRCnewbies. This was a channel that I had many long-distance friends in. Momentarily I decided to search for local people to chat with. KAT123 was a nick that appeared in the search, so I messaged her. We chatted for awhile then she invited me into the channel that she chatted in with other local people, #30-40-50+CANADA. In the channel I met DOK (the channel owner) who was telling me that there’s a group of about 12 chatters locally that go out for coffee and that they were going to go out tomorrow night. (Sun.Dec.21) DOK offered to pick me up if I wanted to come along. So I accepted the offer for the following night. However, the next morning I was in the channel chatting again and met DOK’s daughter -SEXYSmurf. I asked her if she was coming out for coffee tonight-but she replied no, she was sick with the flu, maybe another time. Now that evening DOK had come to pick me up. We had been at the restaurant as a group for about 30mins. when in walked SEXYSmurf. Guess who she was??? She was the hostess that I saw back at Moxie’s a few weeks ago! She sat at the far end of table. After some time the group started to leave. DOK had to get going also, so he asked Lisa (SEXYSmurf) if she could drop me off, as I only lived 5 blocks away from her. So now there’s only KAT123, Lisa and myself left. Lisa and I spent an hour insulting each-other (sarcastic humours). Lisa then drove me home & we talked in the car for awhile then Lisa went home. She went on her computer to chat with friends for awhile again, and there was I! I messaged her and we chatted for awhile. Now, Lisa was getting tired (having the flu) BUT didn’t want to stop talking to me. So she gave me her phone-number. I called her & we talked on the phone until 3am. The next morning Lisa had to work at 10am at Moxie’s. She only lasted until 12pm. then she had to leave-the flu was getting to her. She decided to go to her parent’s place for some TLC. After 4pm. she called and invited me to come over to watch a movie. We rented City of Angels. Lisa fell asleep with her head on my lap (Whoo Hoo)! When I was about to leave after the movie ended.This was when the FIRST kiss was exchanged. The following day I called Lisa after work to find out if she was going home tonight. Lisa didn’t want to go back home because she was living alone. I then told Lisa if she wanted to go home, and sleep in her own bed tonight I would come over and take care of her!! That night we stayed at Lisa’s house & I never really went home after that. Just for the record…OFFICALLY I moved ALL my belongings in on January 9th. Now this December 21, 2001 was OUR 3rd ANNIVERSARY! February 16th 2002 – We got ENGAGED… Click Here / to read about how we got engaged Since We have been together Lisa changed her nick from SEXYSmurf to SNOWSmurfie…. My nick is |SNOWDog| and she wanted people to know that we were together so thats why she changed her nick. Update: We have been together for 9 years now and we have a 4 year old son named Rory . This is how the photos came out so far, The day was gorgeous and the chocolate and salty chips were a real treat, after the chinese take-out. / We had a great time! / The wonderful and imaginative Thomas Dodd suggested she would make a great Alice if I were to do an Alice in Wonderland series, let’s see what I can do with that! / / / The Other Side / / / that one I added texture layers and grunge brush work….. / Painted background behind the “mirror” which is a dodged and painted out window / / Layered with another photoshop layer I made with cloud and wind. /

  I think most of the bubble knows Rose Moxon Rose as the most wonderful creations,in the Fantasy genre she is a leader and teacher. / She hosts a number of groups including her own Fantasy Art How does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspects of your life? Hmmm this is a tricky one. I do find I have to tone down my naturally ‘out there’ eccentric self to fit the lifestyle in which I have chosen to raise my family, who are mostly totally embarassed because of the nature of my art … fantasy. That is, of course, until I win something or I have an opening night at a gallery then suddenly Im really cool. Its like being two people … the artist and the socially acceptabe mother type. Probably if i painted landscapes or flowers in vases or something similar it would all be easier! Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful. Oh i totally do not have to even think on this one… Martin … Pilgrim / He has been encouraging and supportive the whole time I have been here. To be honest, I was happy displaying my art at a few exhibitions around Australia and in online galleries around the world and on a whim I decided to upload some of my work to Red Bubble … I had a wonderful response from many artists here … Martin in particular, so I decided that maybe it was ok to make fantasy scenes and plaster them all over the place. Many opportunities have opened up to me from this site. Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you. This is a difficult one because there are so many artists who have done this for me. Kate O’Brien WOW. there is nothing else to say about her work. Anything at all by Richard Shepherd / His work is amazing and totally inspiring. Every time I visit his portfolio, I just want to scribble 3D all over it. John Edwards / I have a bunch of his work to scribble on. His work is brilliant. We are making a 2008 calendar of flower sprites together and I truly hope I can do his amazing work justice. *Richie Dean his beautiful work has inspired a few collaborations and if i had more time I would ask him if we could do more. and for the final one Im going to cheat.. Mel Brackstone, Steve Axford, Paul Louis Villani, Kevin Kroeker .. and many many more. ok thats it! Thank you Rose “May you create well and prosper” AV
