Another image from my 2001 pinned fairy series.
I love this background I created for another photo, but the children in it were not mine and I don’t have permission to put them on the web. / I found an old photo of my daughter so I have adapted the background to suit and added wings. I would welcome any (constructive)suggestions for improvement as I am fairly new to this. The photo of my daughter is someone else’s and the lilies are clip art I think. I found them in a folder on my computer. The gates are also part of a clip art image.

Taking the shortcut to grandma’s place probably wasn’t a good idea, especially on the advice of a wolf! A couple of old sketches dug up from my archives recently. I finished them up and got them put in a lovely custom frame for a recent show, and they’re now an absolute jewel in my folio!

There is or will be a challenge through the ALT group for fairytales…I had always wanted to do a fairy god mother sort of piece. Took 3 days to finish…first all the sketchy goodness, then the black outling…lastly the colour. 9×12 / Inks.
