  • I took a trip to a local park early this morning, 05/31/08…......I managed to take about 75 shots and as I was leaving, I spotted these lovely little mushrooms popping up through the clover….......all kinds of visions started dancing in my head….this is one of those magical places to which I journeyed …............ / / / _ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. • The souls of dead pagans. Like vampires, fairies were believed to be originally the souls of the pagan dead. Since pagans were unbaptized, they are neither considered good enough to go to heaven nor bad enough to go to hell. They are therefore caught in a netherworld, becoming faeries.

  • My take on Shepard Fairey’s phenomenal Obama Hope portrait for Australia’s slightly lower key leader. Take from it what you will. If you want specific text below it can be done. There are more versions of this vector image, including the same in green and just his head, both look great and if you want them on a shirt just ask.

  • Rebel Without a Cause is a 1955 film directed by Nicholas Ray that tells the story of a rebellious teenager played by James Dean, who comes to a new town, meets a girl, defies his parents, and faces the local high school bullies. It sought to portray the existing decay of youth in middle America, critique parental style, and expose the rift between two generations. Many American teens at the time of Dean’s major movies identified with Dean and the roles he played, especially in Rebel Without A Cause: the typical teenager, caught where no one, not even his peers, can understand him.

  • When I first saw Shepard Fairey’s “Hope” poster, I liked it. That is until I found out the ugly truth behind most of his work (including the Obama promotional poster). It turns out that he is known for outright thieving other artists work and photos and creating his work from it. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were made off the “Hope” poster. However, the photographer that took the original photo Fairey traced over, has not been given a single cent. Because of all this, I was inspired to create my own satirical version of the “Hope” poster. For a basis, I used a picture of Fairey. I don’t know the name of the photographer that took the picture of him, but fully intend to set aside 20% of all earnings from this image to give to them, should they come forward.

  • This is a bit of a tribute to two of my favorite artists. Both of whom have made it on t-shirts in their own way. If you don’t know Shepard Fairey and Banksy, look them up – you’re in for a treat. If you do – I hope get this image. I’m sure both of them are bemused at their own rise to fame. (or notoriety).... Special mention goes to spikerama and his shoe thrower design.
