I have never seen a sky as blue as this and it seemed the perfect setting to throw myself off a fallen lifeguard tower.

I HOPE THAT THIS GROUP OF WORK HAS AN AFFECT ON ANYONE THAT HAS LOST ANYONE LOVED. ON OCTOBER 4, MY BROTHER DAVID ALEN, WAS FOUND DEAD IN HIS APARTMENT. DAVID WAS 45 YEARS YOUNG, AND HAD FOUGHT AIDS FOR 19 YEARS. DAVID WAS BEAUTIFUL, BRILLIANT, ACADEMIC AND MOST OF ALL SO VERY HUMAN. DAVID WAS GAY. WHY DOES THIS EVEN NEED TO BE MENTIONED. MY PHOTOGRAPHS AND WORDS, I CAN ONLY HOPE WILL TRY TO EXPLAIN. IT IS 2007, I BELIEVE, ISN’T IT. KNOW THIS MY BROTHER WAS LOVED, AND ALWAYS WILL BE. DAVID WAS GAY. Recently my friend Keggy was playing a part in a play in the Phoenix Theatre in Exeter, Devon. I went to see him and to take photos of the production. Because of the low light, none of the photos were of particularly good quality. They were all blurry or wrong in some other way. This one was no better than the rest, but I liked the composition of it and so tried to salvage it with photoshop. This is how it came out, and now I think this is one of my best pieces on rb. Agree? Disagree? Comments please! :D

As the sun was starting to set after a long day, I happend to notice this flower looking frail and spent. Even though its day is almost over, I find it more beautiful than the rest. Perhaps it is because I pray that as I continue to get older too, people will always see and remember the inner beauty in me. Hope that doesn’t sound a bit dramatic, but that’s what I know. :-) / / /
