Not a nude but still a bit naughty. Dark elegant and compelling. Another old analouge image from the vaults. This looks great framed.
Location: the Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles, California).
...you can’t always rely on it.
Italians just love their concrete, and once in a while will throw a piece of modernism architecture in an industrial area. I had so much fun in the early morning veering off into these areas and exploring the barren streets. There is the quintessential red and white stripe pole in the far, far distance that smacks of industrialism in Italy.
On a beach, a plastic bottle in hand, an aluminium factory behind and the next generation – just made me think a bit, plus the sheer attitude of my daughter :)
Battersea Battle / This features one of my favourite London buildings – Battersea Power Station. It also celebrates the thriving urban art movement of the capital city. Process and detail: / / The t-shirt: /
Another image from the recent Tony Ryan “Empowered Beauty” workshop held in Millicent recently. Featuring the beautiful and empowering model Claire. Twenty photographers took part in these sessions over two days and all walked away with a new found understanding about the true quality of taking photographs in the moment…..this was due to the instruction and teachings of Tony and the sensational models Claire and Josh. More sessions will be planned here in Millicent South Australia over the next twelve months so if you are interested in attending a session simply drop me a bubblemail. For more information on the sessions see Tony’s site on RB. Click Here Canon 400D 17 – 85 lens using studio style lighting. Shot in a large round pipe offcut in an old industrial factory. BEST viewed large…..
If you squish your brain enough into the right shape the windows and the greeny wall colour may remind you of a particular painter…..:)

This is the second installament for my Old TImers series It brings to light those who have dedicated decades to their chosen occupation, craft or trade, some by choice others through need. A trait which is rapidly diminishing in todays society where people are in constant flux between jobs, careers and hobbies. / This is a salute to the Old Timers! This is Brett, an industrial metal polisher by trade. He has been at it for decades and is well skilled in the art of making metal shine. A real Larrakin at heart but not someone you’d want to get on the wrong side of. An updated bio to come soon… I hope you enjoy! Cheers!
while i was exploring this place i saw a number of ratty mattresses and blankets. hard to believe in this day and age that problems like this still exist. i guess as long as homeless people are out of sight, they are out of mind.

Acrylic on archival paper. This was a joy to do. Everything just flowed.
Sorry for those who have seen this before. I have been having trouble uploading with images not appearing in people’s monitors. This is the fifth attempt with this shot.
