Acrylic on canvas
Featured in Behind The Mask. / Featured in Digital Artists United. The background is made from photos I took flying (as the pilot) over the ocean north of Papua New Guinea and the “Channel Country” in the Australian Outback. Overlaid is a photo of a model I shot with one side light. Below is a photo of this work printed at 92 cm x 122 cm (36” x 48”) on foamcore and hanging in our lounge. Not sure if the colours below were super-saturated by the sunrise reflecting on that wall or what?! The proceeds of all sales go to World Vision, an organisation dedicated to looking after children in Third World countries. .... EXCEPT, while it still runs through Phoenix Appeal, these proceeds will go to the RED CROSS VICTORIAN BUSHFIRE APPEAL. Check out my web site for twisted IRONy metal sculpture.

The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face.
