On December the 1st 2008, Venus, Jupiter and the Crescent Moon came together and formed a unique shape in the sky – a smiley face! This image was captured at Green Point, overlooking Brisbane Water, on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. It’s a HDR image made up of 3 exposures.

Winter waves on Oahu are huge and challenging for the best of the surfers. There are numerous contests for the pros when the waves reach dangerously high heights. This contestant was coming down the face of a wave that was in the 14 foot category.He was competing in a contest being held at “The Pipeline” which is one of the most favored of the spots for winter surfing and is where many of the competitons on Oahu are held. This piece is all about holding ourselves back. Often we confine ourselves in mental cages, not letting our true thoughts out or expressing what we want. The right side is plain, symbolising this confinement and lack of being unique, and gradually as she becomes more sure of herself her life is being filled with colour and originality. So basically don’t hold yourself back, be who you want to be. This is a real mixed media… acrylics, watercolours, watercolour pencils (without water), pastels, inks and pens! I really enjoyed doing this piece, despite the fact it was dragged out so long.

This calendar is a collection of some of my mythological creature series, these works range from original watercolour pencil drawings to original acrylic,gouache paintings. / The ideal was to bring out the mystic and divine side of the mythological creature . / Nymphs,Mermaids,Witches are a big inspriation to me and full of mystery…....what is real world,what is imagination, no one can tell! PLEASE READ THIS. This is the only source of water at Tunga/Zuga Village. This water hole is fed by the river and does not run dry. These villagers and those from surrounding villages have no other choice, but drink this water as their well was contaminated and then caved in. This is one Village where we do what we can to help deal with the aftermath of drinking polluted water, River blindness, Intestinal worm infections, Skin diseases and other water borne diseases Make many sick, especially children. I am returning to the village on 19th November, where I know like previous years many children will not be there, as they will have died in agony. I ask you all who read this to please make a donation via our charity website, or purchase some art. Pray and whatever you can do, please do it, no matter how small you may think it is. it will make a difference. We need much supplies to help these people.
