  • This image was one that I previously did not keep up because of all the noise in it..I took it with the ISO up way too high (accidentally on 800 oops…..)....well I have done some noise treatment on it..and wanted to see how it looked…I am not sure how it would look really large..but it should look perfectly wonderful if kept small…..oh..and its a gulf fritillary by the way…. I am working on blurring the rest of the background..that way the noise isnt so bad…. (I used NoiseWare on it too ) / And also a big thanks to Charles Dobbs for helping me with some editing help!!

  • Macro rock photography! I found this abstract face in a section of a rocky hill that had been cut away for a driveway. Lots of broken shale and other minerals lying around. I just increased the contrast a little which made the face pop out! Rotate the image and it just looks like a normal rock! Small shadows formed in the late afternoon making wonderful contrasts! Focal length 6mm-20mm. !! /

Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. • Gerbera in full bloom- took this at the local garden centre- well- things are getting hard now lol!!!

  • Taken on 24th October 2008. Tunga/Zufa Village. remote Nigeria. We first met Rachel in November 2007. She lost her husband and three children due to preventable diseases. When we met her in November 2007, she had one daughter Alice aged 7 alive. / I took this photo as she came to see me. I asked her where was Alice? She bowed her head and wept and her tears give me the answer to my question. Alice her last surviving child died on 22nd September 2008. As She explained her daughters death, The Lord brought to me this Scripture / . / QUOTE-Jeremiah 31:15 There is a sound of crying, weeping and bitter sorrow; Rachel weeping for her children; she will not be comforted for their loss. My Passion in life is to reach out and be that helping hand to those who are in sorrow, poor and sick in remote and rural villages of Africa. My inspiration is Jesus Christ and his great Love for all people. I ask all who see Rachel here in this photograph to help me and the Charity mission to raise the finance needed to buy the tools we need to help these precious people with digging deep bore wells so they can drink water that does not blind then and rob so many of their lives. Share with them a little of your time in prayer and finance. Even if you cannot give financially now, please do pray. God hears and answers prayers. Together we can save these children’s lives and spare some other mothers and fathers from experiencing the sorrow Rachel feels. • Portrait photography is the capture by means of photography of the likeness of a person, in which the face and expression is predominant. The objective is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the subject. Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is the person’s face, although the entire body and the background may be included. A portrait is generally not a snapshot, but a composed image of a person in a still position. A portrait often shows a person looking directly at the camera. Unlike many other styles of photography, the subjects of portrait photography are often non-professional models. Family portraits commemorating special occasions, such as graduations or weddings, may be professionally produced or may be vernacular and are most often intended for private viewing rather than for public exhibition. However, many portraits are created for public display ranging from fine art portraiture, to commercial portraiture such as might be used to illustrate a company’s annual report, to promotional portraiture such a might be found on a book jacket showing the author of the book.

  • Taken during a Church service in Kallakurachi, India. Sunday 21st June 2009. I took this photograph just before I was called to preach to many Christians and Hindu people who had gathered in a small gods house. The temperature was 40c , and the Church building was made from wood, the walls and roof was made from galvanised tin sheeting. Despite the heat , the Fire of God was burning deep in the hearts of his people. It was in this service that God in his Love responded to the needs of the people. A young Hindu girl received her sight, others were healed from various diseases and many saved. Even those who could hear Gods word preached from outside the building via Speakers, came in and received Jesus Christ as Lord. I give God thanks and praise that he is so real and so loving. I thank God for those here on RB all around the world who pray for me, the Mission and have given money that made it possible to bless the poor and meet their needs. Without you This would not have been possible. You are all important and play a vital role. Gods Vineyard. Thank you. • Yoshita in Hindu means …. lady. I am a missionary, Born in Northern Ireland and now living in London. Taken in Gypsy camp in Vilupuran District. Tamil Nadu State. India. / Yoshita is one of 50 children in this camp who suffers from epilepsy. / Yohhita is from the Narikoravars gypsy tribe. The Narikoravars Gypsies are so oppressed and outcast from society. often beaten, and denied access to healthcare, education and basic life amenities, they are resented almost everywhere they go. They live in shelters they make from Sticks and part mud walls. Many live in shacks with Plastic sheets as a roof. Hindu religion classifies these Gypsies as Low caste and this tribe is in great need. There is only one small Organisation called THE INDIAN GYPSY NEW LIFE MISSION, and ourselves working to help these precious people. • This is the second photograph of Abhijeet. Abhijeet in Hindu language means “one who is victorious, a star”. She certainly lives up to her name. 3 years old and already has faced abuse, and hunger. She was close to death and in much pain. Abijeet is one child we rescued through The INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION, based in India. Her smile melted my heart and as I was told her story I could not help give God thanks for the few Indian Christians that reached out to her. With little money, they took her into the Orphanage, where now she is cared for. There are many like Abhijeet, that are living in Camps without Clean water, little food, no sanitation and no education. Chased and treated like untouchables. Please help me and the charity I run to reach as many of these children as we can with Help. + ALL, YES ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART, DONATED ART AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE REALLY DOES GO TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS PEOPLE. WE NEVER TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF WHAT YOU GIVE. IT ALL GOES TO HELP THEM+. Camera: Canon EOS 400D. Lens: Canon EF70-300 IS USM. ISO400. WB daylight.
