Taken in Tunga/Zuga Village .remote Nigeria. Rebecca is 13 years old and is orphaned. Her Grandmother was looking after her, but she now is dead also. Rebecca rarely speaks but loves to sing songs she learned from passing missionaries. She works in her grandmothers small garden. Her Grandmothers house is almost falling down. The villagers are very loving toward her, but Food is scare here. Please pray and help us to help children like Rebecca. A Parents Prayer for their sick child. / (2 Samuel 12:22) David answered: While he was still alive, I went without food and cried because there was still hope. I said to myself, “Who knows? Maybe the LORD will have pity on me and let the child live.” / I am an Irish born Missionary living in London I spend much time living with the Kambari tribe, I get to know first hand the challenges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occasions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition, adn intestinal worm infection. This was taken in December 2007, and the difference in 2009 is wonderful. Thank you to all who prayed and donated towards saving Grace. Please do Pray for these precious suffering people in extreme poverty and for us as we press on in our mission to help them. I believe in the power of Prayer and a mighty God. [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. [AS IS} / I am a missionary, born in Northern Ireland and living in London. my passion in life is to help the poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa and India. Abhijeet in Hindu language means “one who is victorious, a star”. She certainly lives up to her name. 3 years old and already has faced abuse, and hunger. She was close to death and in much pain. Abijeet is one child we rescued through The INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION, based in India. Her smile melted my heart and as I was told her story I could not help give God thanks for the few Indian Christians that reached out to her. With little money, they took her into the Orphanage, where now she is cared for. I now have sponsored Abijeet and for only £10 per month, she is fed, clothed and will attend a full education when she is old enough. I do not get financial funding from any Church, My own income is little. But I made my mind up a long time ago to share what God has blessed me with with the poor. I have not gone hungry, nor my family. I rent my home, and drive a car. My children are all educated and blessed by God. I have lacked nothing,because blesses the sower. Gods burning Love and Passion for the outcast and poor burns deep within my heart, and hopefully can be seen throgh my life and camera lens. Abijeet is a shining star and a true testimony of what Love and sharing can do. Please Pray for me, that I can bless many more suffering children like Abijeet. PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ THIS. I am an Irish artist and missionary working with extreme poor in Africa and India. In this one camp 52 children suffer from Intestinal worm infection, and the death rate is very high. This is due to lack of clean water. The is Akuti, an Indian gypsy girl aged 11 years. Her name means ‘Princess’ and she really is a Gypsy princess. But she, like almost all of her people, the Nara_Kar-Avars (gypsy children), are treated with contempt and rejection, and denied even the basics of life. To be born a Gypsy under Hindu religion is to be born into the lowest of the lowest casts. / Known as Outcasts and treated as Untouchables, Akuti and many millions like her face a life with little hope. / She has never gone to school, as her parents barely earn enough to feed her, and cannot afford the £70-$130 per year they need for school fees, uniform and text books. My passion and mission in life is not just to pray and preach to these precious people, but to provide clothing, and the cost of school fees, medical care, and provide tools to help them earn or make a living. / The Philadelphia Mission is a small underfunded, yet effective British charity doing just that in India and Africa. But thanks to The Calvary Church who donated a Communications system, our missionary Pastor Jonathan called me. / The First thing he shouted was Grace is now completely well!. / Grace was very ill and would have certainly died, if it was not for some of you here on Redbubble who donated money for Medicines and continued treatment. God Bless you for your genuine Love and your giving. This is amazing Grace! / / Mark 9:36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, / 37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. Her little body was infected with worms, that were eating her from the inside out. On our Charity website, you can see a clip of her actually vomiting worms. But today She is completely well. I am a missionary and was born in Northern Ireland and now live in London. My passion and inspiration to work and help these precious poor is born from my personal relationship with God. his love and mercy changed my life completely in 1986. 50 of the 64 children from this village have never gone to school. Mary is 12 years old and she cares for her younger brother. She never has gone to school like most in Tunga/Zuga village. I called this photograph “what If”. What if someone paid the £70 -$120. per year for her school fees, uniform and text books?. What if someone wanted to give Mary a future where she could learn to read, write, and what if Mary learned skills that would earn her money and she could help her younger brother also to go to school? / What if Mary had the change to be what she wants to be, a Nurse?
