19 February, 2008 It all started with a TV screen shot. I got then inspired to start a series of compositions called The colours of love. This artwork is the first in this series. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it. —- A very dear RB friend of mine surprised me beautifully about a year ago and bought a canvas print of The colours of Love – Mother and child. The model in this pic is very emotionally sensitive. I come across many in my photo shoots who have this sensitivity. However most have been conditioned to rely on their looks as their sole gift. Therefor many do not think of themselves as overly intelligent. I believe that sensitive people have access to incredible wisdom if they open their minds to their hearts. Further I see wisdom as true intelligence as it is intuited rather than learnt. This particular shot to me portrays the depth of feeling and wisom that this women has access to. I am really passionate about running workshops pertaining to images such as these. Inspired by the amazing song “Time is running out” by Muse (I encourage you to listen it and enjoy this music of deep and intense feelings) This scene was taken in Seville at night, during a street exhibition of the famous photographer Ruven Afanador.
