My spin on the fairytale / Model: My youngest Daughter “Alana” Played dressups with the kids today and what fun we had! Also used the opportunity to grab some shots of them and play wit strobe lighting… Edited in photoshop CS3 using textures and such. Haven’t been around much i know, but trying to get in every now and again!

My attempt at a fable – or something like it. Here are two very different characters, yet they are very much alike. Do you rely on prejudices of others (family, friends, religious leaders, etc.)? Or do you make you own choice to trust or like others for who they are, regardless or their race, religion, gender, etc.? Do you seek to find the differences between you, or the similarities? Even if you cannot see eye-to-eye on some things, can you not seek to find common ground and co-exist peacefully? This work was featured in Fan Frenzy One of my most beloved fictional characters. Drawn during a slow day at work in 2004 using the DVD case as reference. This piece was drawn using the Grid technique I had learned in high school art class. Being a beginner at the time, I couldn’t draw any other way. The grid lines are still slightly visible. Disclaimer: I do not own good ol’ Eddy in any way, and the character remains property of Tim Burton and 20th Century Fox.
