One for the petrol heads!!
This historic Formula 1 car was the first non-European car to win a grand prix. It did so at the 1965 Mexico round of the championship. The image was taken at the 2007 Sydney International Motor Show, where Honda had the fully restored car on display.

I painted this for my die hard mercedes fan brother, James. It’s five years old: so, as you can see, it’s a bit faded and worn. Still one of my favs though. - acrylic on canvas -
Me playing around with my new Canon 50mm f1.4 prime lens. I’m having lots of fun with it, this is a different view of my pet cat Mr Zeus.

Entry for the T-Shirt Revolution Anachronism contest! wooop!
I took my oldest son to the Show last night. He had a ball holding crocodiles, touching snakes and eating all manner of sweet things. I think I had just as much fun taking photos!
Just thought I would introduce everyone to Finn, the newest member of our family. He’s an abyssinian that we got from a breeder in Kilsyth. After losing all our other pets in the bushfires it left a bit of a hole in our lives. This little fella is making things a lot easier :) Settings Canon 40D, 50mm prime 1/80th @ f1.4, ISO 200 As is…
Oil on board. 32×22 inches approx / Windsor & Newton standard oil tubes. / Fine tooth Daler board. This painting took approx 3 months to complete. / It was painted for a friend to give to her husband who was mad on anything F1. / completed in 1999.
Hey, it’s 0630, it’s cold, it’s very foggy out so what do you do? You pull up the doona and stay in bed go out and take pictures of course! 3-frame HDR, tone mapped in Photomatix and converted in CS4
This Williams FW07 was driven by the Australian F1 World Champion Alan Jones during the 1979 and 1980 seasons. / Alan was to drive this car to win the Drivers World Championship in 1980 through wins in the Argentine, French, British, Canadian, and United States Grand Prix. I took this shot at a recent historic event at Silverstone…and played about with it just a bit in Photoshop! / The car and sky were in the same original image, but I ‘introduced’ the bushes in the far distance from another image and brought the sky down a little in order to remove people, and other cars that were in the background. / I also had to be very patient, as every so often somebody would stop by and peer into the car getting in the way of my shot! I hope you like the result. Nikon D80. Nikkor 18-135mm. 1/1250 f8
