  • The hog hair marrage
    by hatefueled

    US$4.99–US$114.00

40cm x 45cm acrylics and collage on canvas. As yet another art course project for tafe, our imaginative lecturer wanted us to take 2 masterpieces by high profile artists and imagine, metaphorically if they’re were to be married and to have a child, paint what that child would look like! We could either make them not work together purposely to make a statement or blend them into a new image. This is man ray’s woman with cello ‘f’ holes and one of Kurt Shwitters’ collages (mostly painted but also collaged). At first i didn’t like this too much but after I got stuck into it I fell in love and this has been my favorite painting of mine ever since.

  • Breaking the Sound Barrier
    by SteveRoy

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Okay… I’ve recieved some quesstions about this shot. I took this at an airshow earlier in the year. The announcer warned the crowed that the plane was going to do a high speed pass approaching the sound barrier to create the cone effect (which appears just before breaking the speed of sound). Yes… it was very difficult to focus and pan to get this shot. Luckily, I managed to keep it in the frame. My equipment: Canon EOS 5D with 100-400L zoom. Thanks for your comments.

  • The Path
    by Andy Mueller IPA

    US$4.32–US$98.80

I wonder where this path leads? During a motorcycle trip to Georgia, I passed by this scene and just had to turn around. The ground fog was just wicked, it was shrouding this path which I presume belongs to a rural farm. Taken with the Nikon D300 and Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 lens. HDR processing and Orton effect applied, as well as some dodge & burn.

  • The Choice - II
    by F.A. Moore

    US$5.32–US$121.60

Choice II is for those who love the light side of the spectrum. It takes on such a different feeling than the much darker original, The Choice / Love should never be a choice. While man attempts to recreate his universe through science, emulating God; at the core, each of us struggles with daily choices that eclipse logic. Are choices of the heart logical or divinely inspired, impetuous or practical, or do these rather define constraints of the mind? Should the heart always win over thought process, or does one inform the other? By our divine nature, women have a choice, to follow our heart, head, will, or spirit. Wrong or right, we exercise it. I’m listening… listening to the dreams. Digital Fine Art, influenced by the Romantic and Arts and Crafts styles. F.A. Moore, June 17, 2009. • I would like to thank Waking Dream- Author: Robert Dye http://www.redbubble.com/people/robartdye/writing/1006181-waking-dream#comment-4176075 These dreams etched within a winding wrinkle, / I wake to feel the fleeting visions faintly linger, / Like the vague crescent white of the moon, / Dissipated against the brilliant blues of day. / So curious to know this other realm of consciousness, / That’s plucked from the branches of reality, / Like leaves slipping away with rushing winds, / Descending into currents of so many wild streams, / Soaking their dried veins, increasingly saturated, / Drowning their bodies into the rough, grainy silt. / The weight of water oppressing once precious, / Fragile blossomed memories of towering trees, / Burying them into the ever deepening, dark mud. / All of these once thriving sprouts of existence, / From deterioration become recycled, regenerated, / To the miniscule shreds of minerals and nutrients, / Which await extraction by other far reaching roots. / While in the slumber of the cold, barren, windblown tree, / I wonder, does it dream and long to be anew, full and free?
