Hi there, My partner and I run a publishing company called FW Publishing. We produce two online/print magazines called SNAP (Photosgraphy/Photo Manips) and Forbidden Whispers Magazine (Digital Art). FORBIDDEN WHISPERS MAGAZINE ISSUE 004 What have we got in store for you for this issue? We throw the spotlight on some talented artists such as, Kristina Gehrmann, Marisa Lopez, and Oliver Wetter. Not to mention some fantastic interviews with Poser Artist, Anders Plassgard, who talks to us about his love for Poser, and how he combines other software to create his stunning Sci-fi imagery. Improve your artistic techniques with our workshops and artist walkthroughs, featuring Michael Krenzin with his stunning image ‘La Petit Princesse’, and Suzanne Van Pelt brings us ‘Mr Leto’ in her step-by-step walkthrough. And if that wasn’t enough we showcase some of the best artists in our gallery expose. Such artists include, Piotr Zwierzchowski, Wen -Xi-Chen, Jakub Kujawa, Liu Yang, and Beloved Creature shares with us his sci-fi surrealist works. Here is a screenplay written by myself and Julia, (http://www.redbubble.com/people/harlequin) and submitted to the short film festival, Tropfest… / The whole experience was one I’ll remember for a long time… / As an interesting side note many of the residents of Canberra who were in the park on the day of the shoot avoided the two “baglady” characters like the plague!!! / This was testament to the point we were trying to make about judgement… The film is now up for viewing here

Thank you very very much to everbody who’s commented on the artwork I’ve posted. It’s so encouraging to have such great support and critique! / I’ve been answering people’s comments whom I’ve just met because I want to know them better—no offence meant to you whom I’ve known for some time now. LOL—you’re not “chopped liver” as the comedians say. This is probably the way I’m going to have to handle RB now and in the future. Communication’s as important as art—it is an art, but I have to balance it with the amount of art I can turn out. It seems to be working very well. The visitng troup of young people have migrated on for a bit, and we’re both wanting naps! They blew in after midnight, and we finally, reluctantly, let them go to bed about 3 a.m.—We haven’t seen one for about 5 years, and the other for a few months. They were blown away by RB, the quality and quantity of art just had them gasping. I’d sent the URL to them each a dozen times, but you know, I’m must Mom, and I’m old, and could have nothing that would interest them! -ROFL- Then I showed them my pages in Aloramyst’s eZine, from her Digital Abstracts & Patterns Group. / http://www.redbubble.com/groups/digital-abstracts -Excellent Gp!- / which made them sit up and take notice! (I love doing that to youngsters.) Okay—my data transfer’s almost complete and that means I have more work to do. Hugs to all -=Dayonda

As I chased around dragonflies near our ponds, this little garter snake surprised me, hanging about in the lily leaves. As we approach the Autumnal Equinox on Tuesday, the snake reminded me of the healing power of the West/Fall manifesting through shedding its skin. A snake does not remove one skin, then vulnerably search out another. The new, pure skin grows beneath the old. What is released is outgrown and useless. If it were not released, it would impair the healthy functioning of the new skin. / The future offers the opportunity for purity and healing through the shedding of skin, as long as you don’t let your new skin grow back to resemble the old… I have been working on the newest installment of Mind Soundtracks for EarthMonster Illustrated and harvesting a bounty of heARTworks found here on RB from my colleagues and the subject matter is along these same lines of releasing the old for new and better change. In Native American legends, the crow could talk. Because of this, it was considered one of the wisest of birds. The sacred bird of the famous Ghost Dance was the crow. / The crow is considered to be the keeper of all sacred law, the one who knew the deep mysteries of all creation. Seeing a crow in certain situations was an omen of coming change.
