  • The very harsh outback region of Quensland’s Channel Country where the texture of bark on trees looks more like rock than wood. / These channel areas become flood ways during the wet season and the flowing waters make thier way to Lake Eyre around 800km away. / Either side of this ribbon of trees, the plains a relatively flat and covered in small rock for as far as the eye can see.

  • Some of the scenery along the coast near Fowler’s Bay, South Australia is stunning. There are many little bays in total isolation where nature abounds and the crystal clear blue waters lap onto sandy beaches. Four-wheel drive needed. This rocky outcrop looks like a crocodile. /

  • Another place well worth a visit is Murphy’s Haystacks. To me they look like mushrooms. Take the time to explore them as they are most unusual rock formations.
