Amongst many relics on old farm in country Victoria. Wouldn’t it be great to have the time and money to bring these old vehicles back to life.

One-horned Rhinoceros…..... Asian One-horned Rhinoceros is a large mammal found in Nepal, Bhutan, and in Assam, India. It is confined to the tall grasslands and forests in the foothills of the Himalayas. The Indian Rhinoceros can run at speeds of up to 25 mph for short periods of time and is also an excellent swimmer. It has an excellent sense of hearing and smell and relatively poor eyesight. In size it is equal to that of the white rhino in Africa. Not including the white rhino, it is the largest of all rhinos, and probably the one with the best armor, along with the Javan rhino’s armor. This rhino is a major success of conservation. Only 100 remained in the early 1900s and now their population has increased but even so they are still endangered.

This vulture lives predominantly in tropical lowland forests stretching from southern Mexico to northern Argentina. The adult King Vulture is the most strikingly colored of the New World Vultures. The bald eagle’s eyes have 2 centers of focus enabling it to not only see forward but also to the side at the same time. It is able to spot fish underwater while soaring several hundred feet in the air. It is able to spot its prey up to a mile away. Its vision is 4 times greater than a human with 20/20 eyesight. / This eagle, on Lake of the Woods, Ontario was in a Jack pine tree about 25 feet high. THe photo was taken with a Sony a300 and Minolta AF f8 500 reflex lens.
