A coy pose by one of the angriest little birds in the garden. It constantly makes that distinctive ‘blue-tit in a strop’ noise, even at the bird feeder. I think it might be a juvenile as it’s a bit tatty and seems to dart around in a slightly less oriented way than the grown-ups. Still gorgeous though and the grouchiness just enhances its charisma.

This is the one Alisha used for her ‘colour purple’ design project

These photos are for my cousin Alisha’s interior design project on the colour purple.. For her project I made the beads and her lips purple and her skin all B&W, but I liked this edit better. :) Her idea was to do a soft, beauty shot with a slight drag queenie influence (the eyelashes) as purple represents alternative-ness, it’s also a calming colour.. That is her idea anyway and it sounds good to me! :)

Taken with my Nikon D90/Nikon DX/AF-S NIKKOR 1-105 mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED Right, so for art GCSE this year, my topic is fashion. I’m focusing on the strange and extravagent make-up they have in magazines and also beautiful dresses. I have to try and not use photography because I’m doing fine art, but I can use some. So, here it is, my first try. I love it actually. It was so hard painting (yes, painting, with face paint) Alice’s eyelashes, she kept blinking! I think it’s strange, you would never had guessed that she is only 11 years old, she looks so grown up, bless her!
