Angel Warda posted a lovely self portrait of herself called feeling. She intended to convey the emotion of sadness because (as she said,) sadness can look beautiful. That was really thought provoking to me, and it inspired me to do a portrait of my own, which would express that emotion.

This is Ella waking from a nap and this is when she is at her sweetest. Check out her eyes. Have you ever seen the whites of a cats eyes? The image was processed with Topaz Adjust for a little extra boost. Ella is the youngest of my three rescued kitties. She was born under a porch and rescued by someone who was able to give them a safe place to live until they could all be adopted. Ella is now almost four and has been with us since she was about 8 weeks old.
