  • From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Osteospermum plants originate from South Africa and the name is derived from the Greek osteon (= bone) and Latin spermum (= seed). Osteospermums belong to the daisy family ( Compositae / Asteraceae), hence their common names: African Daisy or South African Daisy, Cape Daisy and Blue-eyed Daisy. There are about 50 species, native to Africa, 35 species in southern Africa, and southwestern Arabia. They are half-hardy perennials or subshrubs. Therefore they do not survive outdoor wintry conditions, but there is still a wide range of hardiness. • This eye is watching you—-ya just aren’t aware of it. It hides behind trees, bushes, houses, schools, and…beds. It comes lurking around when your asleep. It watches you breathe…watches you blink and move around in your sleep. The green EYE does not devulge it’s mission here. It’s just one of many visitors from afar. Where did it go now?? We’ll just have to guess…maybe try to peek back at it from our sleep. Renered in Ultra Fractal. Post work done in MSPS.

  • Another of the lovely Nicole. I dont know how I got such attractive friends…

  • Seriously, have you ever spoken to someone who had such horrible breath you wished you were a picasso painting with your nose on the other side of your head? What would it matter, he would keep on talking, even with people falling out before him and the petals of the flowers blowing away! I remember this guy in my high school journalism class, he was in charge of sales and did well at it. I think he sold so much because they were doing all they could to get rid of him and with him being so tenacious, they would have bought the Brooklyn Bridge. Funny, I found years later that he became a Social Worker – really! This piece was created on 12×12 Strathmore drawing paper with gel pens and markers.
