Shaina our Husky puppy likes to dig around in the garden. She loves to play and is actually very vocal. When you talk to her like to a child, she reacts with her “husky” voice and sort of talks back to you.

This is Stella, my beautiful wee girl, just before she died :( / We got her from the SPCA not long ago. She was only about 6 weeks old, and had a very tragic start to life. Stella and her brothers and sisters were saved from drowning after being stuffed inside a sack and dumped at Riverton Rocks (beach). / When I saw the photo of these adorable pups in the paper, my heart melted…....I just had to adopt one. I got the first pick from the litter, and fell for Stella instantly. / We took her home from the shelter a little earlier than we should of, and were planning to get her vaccinations at 8 weeks…...but sadly she didn’t make it. The second day at home she started vomiting and had diarrhea. She went off her food, so we got some special stuff from the vets to mix with water, and tried to keep her fluids up. It was so heartbreaking to see her so ill. We only had her 6 days before she died in my arms…..I was so devastated! I’d grown really attached to her in that short time, she would of been a lovely dog. At least I know her last days were full of love and cuddles…..more than she would of had at the shelter as they are so busy there. One of her sisters died on the same day as her too. We think it was parvo or something like it that killed them. RIP Stella my sweet wee girl. We now have a new pup, a boy called Nitro. He’s quite a bit older, 7 months, and he is very healthy. I’ll post a pic of him soon.

This little pup is so adorable, she was almost run over one stormy night by her new owner when she ran out on the road out of no where, he stopped and got out of the truck and she jumped in. Shes a pure bred red nose so someones missing out on an amazing little dog. In this photo she was eight weeks old and she knew how to sit, stay, heel and bite your fingers really hard! She was so adorable and pick her leash up and run away with it. Shot using a Canon DS6041/ 300D Digital.

Jasper, Hungarian Viszla. Jasper is my bestfriend. I couldn’t imagine my life without him and although we’ve only known eachother for 12months, we know eachother very well. I’ve always had pets (of all sorts in my life, from horses to cats, from pigeons to rabbits, turtles to dogs) and I have always had animals in my life, but I can now confidently say that I have never known a more loving, loyal, fun, enthusiastic companion. Not one day has gone past within the past 12 months that Jasper hasn’t made me laugh (more than once a day). I wake up, I wake Jasper up and he is the happiest hound in the morning. He is so happy to see you, his bum wiggles like a slinky toy, his tail wags with so much commitment, and this whole body distortion of pure happiness continues whilst he follows me around the house. The best thing is, it’s infectious and you can’t help but wake up in a good mood!
