© C J Lewis. Mixed media art created from a photograph and altered on computer to finished art work using PhotoPlus6 for painting, air-brushing, toning, sizing and filters. Having cured myself of a few diseases over the decades..one of which I was told I would need an operation for or would be dead within 17 days (that was back in 1984) and which shocked the medical profession by my doing so… as well as still working on a terminal one of the kidneys and liver…I have come to realize that disease comes from being dis-at-ease within the body…and the mind-set of believing that the diseases exists. NB: I am of a VERY strong faith & belief in the greater power that is…God…source energy or whatever tag you apply to your belief…so do not stop taking your medication or going to your doctor…unless you are also highly consciously aware thereby having the power to heal yourself. Disease / MCN:CD34B-59A87-9EA34 ONE EYED VIEW When the wolf’s at the door / With its tongue hanging out / Waiting to rip at the throat / Of self made doubt / You may learn we are the makers / Of our own disease / When we don’t come to see / That from our own greed / We set the seeds / Of our indecision / Through the wants / Not the needs / Striving for perfection / In an imperfect world / Instead of learning lessons / Some just dive in / Looking for the pearls / While the devil sits / Above the brow / Creating storm clouds in the brain / Controller of the ego / You’re the one who gave / That devil the rein / While the good Lord / Waits in quiet contemplation / Among the crowning glory / Of your being / Dressed in the robes / Of every hair upon your head / Waiting for you to see / The light of the now / That the only abode that old devil has / Is the one within your head / From where it casts all indecisions / Of which you let yourself be led / For disease from a one eyed view / Is the wolf at your throat / If you decide it’s true / For you are at dis of ease / Within you. © C J Lewis, Sydney 2008
