Before you ask…......no, I don’t play with doll’s. I was trying some portrait angles and lighting positions. I asked the doll to model for me…......no response so I took that as a ‘yes’.

This is a resubmit with a larger file. I scanned this drawing with a flatbed scanner rather than take a photograph of it as I could retain more detail that way. I have always liked this portrait which was done from a live model in a classroom. The model was not wearing lipstick or eye shadow and she did not particularly look like this woman. The model just was just the frame upon which I built this idea of a “sexually exhausted” woman. Read into that what you will.

While I was personally driving some tourists through the Kruger Nat.Park, we came across this lovely mature gentleman. It was so relaxed that I took the chance of getting REALLY CLOSE, to get this picture! He was less than 5m from us!!
