Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Eye See You This Pelican at Monkey Mia, Western Australia, was very different from the ones I had seen before (Australian Pelican). Have included some information regarding the Australian Pelican: The Australian Pelican Australia’s largest flying bird, the pelican has a wingspan of 3.5m and the world’s longest bill at 47cm, with an expandable pouch to hold fish. They forage day and night, alone or in groups, driving fish into the shallows and catching them with their bills. They roost on mudbanks and islands, fluttering their pouch skin to keep cool. They sometimes migrate long distances, flying in loose V formation or in line, soaring up to 3,000m high. They nest in colonies on islands and the chicks gather in groups. Their diet consists of fish and crustaceans. They inhabit fresh and saline lakes, rivers and swamps.
This was one of my frist Photo-manips I put on redbubble over a year ago just reposting I fixed it up a bit.

I often wonder what he is thinking as he sits there and plays, such innocence, It is nice to think back to a time when things were so simple and there was so much Joy to be found in the little things, Shot with my canon 40d dslr

/ This is a photograph of my eye that I played around with in Photoshop & other programs such as HDR. This picture has been nominated in the Pay It Foward group (forums) by my father A90Six. This is he said: “This is a fantastic shot, executed well and finished wonderfully. this is a great piece of work for an artist of any age, but for a ten year-old it’s even more amazing. Ok! Hands up! He is my son! That said, he is just ten years-old. He has a great ‘eye’ for photography. He has his own camera (an old one of mine) He sets up the camera and the shot himself, does his own lighting, and works out the angles and compositions he wants. He does all his own post editing including HDR work, Orton effects and Photoshop. He is allowed to ask me how to do things if he’s not sure, but he has to do it. His remit is that his work not only has to look good to him, but he has to think they are good enough to sell before they can be uploaded to RB.” Featured In: My Child’s Art / Eye Macros / Accentuate The Eyes
The main background is the plaster texture inverted. The splatter texture is overlayed on the viewers right. The 02 FAC texture was uploaded into the texturizer and applied to the face with the effect erased from the eyes and cheeks so it is most evident on the lips, nose and forehead. The 01 FAC texture was darken-layered around the edges of the image after I colored it magenta using the hue/saturation slider. The remaining elements are parts of my photos, model is my wife Candace who is my greatest inspiration.

That Can Only Be Seen Through the Cracks… All images used in this composite taken with Sony Alpha 350, various lenses, and are mine. Separate layers of images of broken glass using various blending modes, individual ‘shards’ of glass from different images layered on top to attempt to give the appearance of their sharp edges ‘threatening’ the viewer. The image of the person layered underneath and ‘stretched’ so that the eyes matched the gaps in the cracks. / I experimented with desaturating the colour in this image, but decided that leaving colour ‘as is’ from the various layers created more impact. With this piece I tried to create a digital variant of a pen and ink illustration I did back in high school. I found out pretty quickly that the image created back then looked “right” to me, the image being attempted seventeen years later on computer had to be worked out differently. It just didn’t look right anymore.
. ok… / i’m cheating a bit with this one… / didn’t do a new piece so / posting an older self portrait / (but one of my favorites) and it’s a repost of i can see you . 7/100 for 1000 girls in 100 days . soft pastel on newsprint / 18”x 24” .
